I remember reading somewhere that the 6th house rules small pets.

I never paid much attention to this detail, it seemed mundane and how exactly do your pets come into your natal?

But...

I have Jupiter in the 6th in my natal. I always assumed that it mean't I'd have good luck finding jobs and have amicable working relationships. Which is true.

And I just landed a job working with animals - Dogs specifically, it may be my dream job!

I don't have to deal with people, just animals yay!!!

Also Jupiter in the 6th H may point to having a big heart for animals in general and working with them like in my case.. Ever put these two in and two together?

I have my 6H cusp in Cancer, and Ceres there as well. I have a ridiculously soft heart for animals. Ask me if I would rather donate a large sum of money to 1) non-kill shelters/animal welfare or 2) a fund to feed third world country children, and I will always choose the animals first.

H6 cusp in Aquarius, Saturn there, in Pisces. I really dislike pets and animals, especially dogs. Except! My own cat. Otherwise, I'd want things like snakes, scorpions, or carnivorous plants (such as Venus Flytrap, Pitcher Planet, and Sundew!)

Nice! I'm more prone to get emotionally upset about the harm of animals than children as well.

I have Libra on my 6th house Cusp, with my vertex in Libra, Pluto, Juno and Valentine in Scorpio.

I love animals I have more of a soft spot for animals than people in general. I use to work at a doggie daycare for a few years and I am always trying to adopt new pets I just love them.

This is interesting...
I have two mini pomeranians, and they are a big part of my life. They make me very happy.
Earlier in my life I've had bunnies and I remember I'd bond with them better than I had with people...

I have a 6th house stellium. My Moon's in the 6th.

pluto rules my 6th house and neptune is placed in my 6th. i was devastated when my dog died, i love/d him more than anything, and he was more family to me than my human family ever could be. he showed me more empathy than my parents ever did (which is none) the 10 years i had him were not enough. i also dream about him often (and in the dreams im aware that he has died in real life).

That job sounds awesome I had a blast volunteering at the local animal shelter a few summers ago!

I have leo on my 6th cusp moon in virgo in there.And I love animals I have a ragdoll cat which I love dearly also along with my horse.They make me happy!!

Yeah, I am, more or less. I don't like things that are dependent on me, I have a need to be independent (Aquarius) - plus I'm forgetful too (Pisces). With the above mentioned, they're easier to care for, lol!

I have 2 personal planets in the 6th but am not fond of dogs & am allergic to cats (shame since I find them stunning and they seem to really like me). Pets I prefer and have kept are in this range: frog, tarantula, hamster, fish, various bugs that I catch and keep for a time (have always loved BUGS save for wasps). Basic small house pets. Pets I've thought of caring for at one time or another but not yet: bird, turtle, mouse, chinchilla, rabbit...maybe a gecko as well.

i have aries h6. mercury there. i have a small dog though he is the largest of the small dog breeds. can't see the connection much with my chart except i dislike girly dogs like poodles.. (not that a pug is way more masculine or anything) i dislike cats except leos.

i love pets, my 6h cusp is pisces i have sun and moon there. i volunteered at an animal shelter for a bit, opened my eyes to the plight of all the dogs being overbred, abandoned, and put down. mainly bull breeds, staffies and staffy crosses, which i used to dislike, and now have a massive soft spot for. they are unfairly vilified by mainstream media and people(idiots) who are ignorant of what wonderful companions and family pets they make.

my dog is my heart and since she turned five i had her name tatted on my ribs. i am as loyally devoted to her as she is to me (and also slightly mad, clearly lol) she's a mastiff x. i love pets, if it was down to me i'd have a house full of rescues. luckily it isn't. though it's still my dream to own a horse one day, and i still think about it like i did when i was 8 or 9. one day!

I have neptune in Sag in my 6th house.

i love animals of all kinds.

I am going back to school to become a vet tech.

If an animal dies it makes me cry and effects my life. i hate it when animals die.

People say I care more for animals than humans. I have to admit its true :/

I am a vegan not for health but because i do not want to participate in animal murder.

I had a poodle for 16 years. He was so clingy and sweet. I had to have him put to sleep in 2005. He got old and started having seizures and heart problems. I still cry about him.

Today I witnessed a puppy bulldog and his owner get hit by a car. it was a hit and run.

the man was bleeding but didnt care.

he cradled the puppy in his arms and cried and begged it to not die. someone rushed him to the animal hospital.

I found out later it died.

I cant get both of them out of my head.

Been crying all day. my eyes are swollen.

taking a sleeping pill later because my heart is so broken.

Hmmm, i have blackmoon Lilith in 6th...i like the thought of pets...but i dont like the mess or smell...i always thought it was my virgo moon...guess i had the wrong moon?

My 6th house is pisces...virgo moon opposes, my Blackmoon is in Aries but falls too early for 7th. I got very attached to a kitten as a child and a dog, after they died it hurt so much i decided i didnt want to ever go thru that again. Pallas/Vesta conjunct in 6th?
