A lot of aspects can be considered as "the worst", but the thing is, everyone's vision is subjective, so there is no real answer to that question. From my perspective, squares/oppositions to Saturn and Pluto from the Sun and the Moon are the worst; but someone with an afflicted Venus may say Venus square/opposite/conjunct (?) an outer planet is worse; or someone with a difficult 12th house position will say the 12th house is worse, etc. IP: Logged |

My sister is a Leo, she has 5 plantets in 12, she can't handle it at all, is afraid of her own shadow, My brother who is an Aquarius, has 3 planets in 12, he seems to be better with it, but has hickups with it as well.what a family...
It is fascinating to see so many astrological similarities within families. IP: Logged |

Yes. In a sense it is true that I experienced some loss with regard to my Neptune house. I’ve got Pisces on the IC with Neptune in the 12th house, and my mother was not a strong presence in my life for the majority of my childhood. My parents separated and I was raised by my Aries Dad from 7 years of age. I’ve also got my Cancer Moon sitting in the 8th house with emphasizes the ‘lost mother’ theme. Interestingly, my grandmother took over the mothering role for me… And she’s a Cancer with Pluto conjunct the Sun. On the positive side I don’t feel any ill will toward my mother and understand that things had to be the way that the were. The blame game is stupid and doesn’t help. I think Pisces is a very accepting forgiving energy. My parents lived in different countries so I either had to be without a mother or a father… There’s no sense crying over spilled milk. I’m at peace with it. I have to say, though, that Neptune in the 12th has given me a rich imagination, and an abundance of intuition… I used to make up fairy stories to tell my young cousins while we were growing up, and I can strongly visualize what I’m imagining, and can see it playing out in my mind like a movie. I’ve always had a keen interest in metaphysics and am very ‘sensitive’ in that way. I can feel the energy of people and places. I also really enjoy my alone time where I can study, dream, and fantasize. Some people can’t handle too much time alone but I often crave it. One thing I’ve noticed about 12th house placement is the people either keep this part of themselves private, for when they are alone, or they give this part of themselves away to others, as a type of service to help the needy, sort of thing. The 1st house is where we own our stuff, and walk the talk so to speak. We openly acknowledge ’This is me’…. But the 12th house seems to be more of a secret or a gift to others. I’ve noticed a lot of famous people have Sun in the 12th house… It’s like they are gifting their charisma and performance ability to others as a type of service (although weather or not this is appreciated will depend on other factors in the natal chart). First house Leo and Sun can incline to fame too, but here the attitude is more like “Look at me. I can shine!”, where as the 12th is more like “My light exists to entertain, serve, and make other’s happy…”. It’s a different approach.

It kind of depends.People may want to say an afflicted Venus may suck, if they are having romantic problems, as opposed to someone married for many years with the same natal aspect. Or perhaps a career problem is their main worry, so they indicate an afflicted Mars. If their family is a huge problem, they may indicate an afflicted Moon. Cut down to the basics, I think a square or opposition to one's core self [Sun/Moon] is probably the "worst" of the worst, regardless of what is squaring/opposing. Romantically, I would rather say a square or opposition between Venus and Chiron is worse than Saturn. Saturn is restrictive, whereas Chiron is chronically painful. Drive-wise, Mars in square or opposition to Saturn is harsh. You have to remember too, that a person's natal squares and oppositions may actually become their strongest assets, because it requires conscious compromise and adjustment as opposed to blind luck. These natives, when they apply themselves to address their difficulties instead of avoiding them - they become the real experts who can handle sudden problems better than someone with, say, a trine. Take Mars square Saturn, for example. Avoided, it manifests as a person who drags their feet, has a hard time beginning projects, afraid to assert themself, etc. However, when applied, few people will be able to outlast the sheer stamina of a Mars-Saturn square. Mars "goes", and Saturn "sticks". This is opposed to a Mars-Saturn trine, which is very efficient, but may be inclined to drop a project if deemed "too much trouble". Mars-Saturn square will hack on until it is done, with a very real chance of acknowledgement for doing the un-doable. IP: Logged |

So with Mars teetering into the 12th, and Aries ruling my 8th house, what might that mean for me? IP: Logged |

Oh, that's the silliest thing I've read all day. Saturn and Pluto squares just stop you from being a p*ssy, excuse my French. I'm grateful for those squares; whatever chutzpah I have, I get from those. Neptune squares blow harder, I say. They give issues with reality and seeing things clearly. This, coming from someone who has it square Neptune, so I know whereof I speak. IP: Logged |

Mercury can't be square your sun. Mercury is never far enough away from the sun to square it. Can Venus even be that far? I don't think it can Anyways I have hard aspects to my sun but EVERY planet aspects my sun so maybe that is why it isn't so bad.

I have Venus opposite Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn and its not bad. If anything it helps my Gemini Venus slow down which suits my fixed sun/moon/asc better anyways. I think it's all relative and probably hard to determine unless people give their opinions on which aspect in THEIR chart is the worst. Then maybe you could see if there is any pattern. IP: Logged |
