I think having a lot of squares to your sun sign would be a major liability. Imagine having your mercury, jupiter, venus, pluto, and moon square your sun. In general I'd say Saturn square a 'soft' planet like the Moon or Venus might be hard to live with, (difficulty expressing feelings) but if you have other planets trine or sextile them it'll soften the blow. Saturn square Sun or Mars could be difficult as well. Though, sometimes these people turn into real 'go-getters’. Pluto in hard aspect to Sun, Moon, Venus, or Mars are very turbulent on an emotional level… Can be prone to angst. My sister is a Leo, she has 5 plantets in 12, she can't handle it at all, is afraid of her own shadow, My brother who is an Aquarius, has 3 planets in 12, he seems to be better with it, but has hickups with it as well. what a family... As such, it can be hard for the person to deal with these planets which can be suppressed/hard to deal with in a direct, outward movement sort of way. To explain, in practical terms. If one's Mars is there, one may feel very afraid/inhibited in expressing drives( which is the domain of Mars) One may be afraid of anger and aggression( domains of Mars) One may suppress these drives and turn them inward in a passive aggressive way or just suppressed way.
