As Lonake mentioned, relocational astrology is based changing our chart to how it would be if we were born at a different location then our birth. This does not show any fundamental changes in our general personality which is constant. Rather is shows the different type of EXPERIENCES that we’ll have in the new location. Maybe this is why the chart based on the location you have lived at since you were 3 resonates so much with you… Your personality may still be that of your original birth place, but a lot of your experiences in the location where you currently live may be reflected by the relocated birth chart.

However the relocated chart is created using the exact moment that you were born, except at a different location. It’s not as simple as using the same time of day…. We have to adjust the time of day in the new location to where it was the exact moment you were born in your birthplace in universal time. There is an option to do this at astrodienst.com. First you have to calculate your original natal chart based on your actual date, time and place of birth. Then, in the ‘extended chart selection’ page of the site there’s a section labeled ‘options‘. In the ’options’ section of the web page change the reference place to location you’d like to do a relocated chart for. Click the link ‘modify reference place’ to do this.
