With Saturn moving into Scorpio in less than a month, I am trying to understand his purpose.
Saturn is supposed to be the great teacher, harsh but just. He puts you through hardships but rewards you if you buckle down and learn your lesson.
Saturn has been in my 7th house forever( have a Dsc intercepting Virgo and Libra). I have been going through ups and downs with the same guy for the past 9 years now.He leaves, come back, leaves( 3 times at last count, he has left, now he is back but still undecided whether he wants to make a commitment).
I have put him out of my mind and decided to move on, he comes back just when I am sure that I should not expect anything from him.
I thought the point that Saturn wanted me to learn was to move on, then why does this guy come back again? If it is not meant to be, what is the point in making me bleed again and again why my wounds start healing?
What should I learn and what should be doing?

It sounds like you need to learn to let go and some self worth. You can't blame saturn for this guy returning, you have the power to send him packing forever, do it.

Kittykat may be right (please don't mind the petname )

When saturn moved through my fifth i was in limbo for a guy with a mars in Cancer that wouldn't stay or go and finally, once i caught on to my energy being drained by them for their selfish needs, i cut chord.

I pushed every button to get the release i needed and even told em what i wanted to hear to move on and i pushed and pushed til i got it and that was it.. I was free.

It took the whole transit, though.... It was rough.

I'm in the same boat riding the saturn wave.. It just now is hitting my 8th...

I guess the lesson as for me too, is to let him go totally and not accept the back and fourth thing...

Not that I'm doing better, I'm trying really hard to let go.. It's very challenging....

Deep down I know that's what I must do...
The pulling me back in, just makes it worse and I have to go through it all over again..

I know it suxs

Thanks a ton for the support. i have been trying real hard to rid myself of him.. but inspite of being a scorpio sun I have never been ruthless and it makes me hesitate to be mean to him. he comes back saying people change , i am changing, so let me have another chance. i think maybe everybody does deserve to be understood. he has saturn going over abunch of his palnets, he has a 4 planet stellium in libra. how is it that he never matured?
