I don't believe in any great oneness, and I believe that if God (or whatever being of your choice) intended for us to be one big singular entity, He/She/Whoever wouldn't have made us all so different, with such different, beliefs, tastes, and mindsets. To me the 'oneness' concept is inherently asinine for that reason, because it clearly appears that the Creator had other plans. I agree with Gray but I'm not convinced there's even a creator. I don't believe there is a higher level of being. To me that says a group of people thinking they are " better than" or "more evolved than" others who are outside the group. I think astrology is a useful tool for helping to make sense of character and events but I don't class it as a science. I do think we can be connected in a sense but ~ only in a sense. Like birds can be connected when they do those dances in the sky....and then go back to their own nests kind of thing. IP: Logged |

quote: Astrology is the only predictive science that bases its conclusions on a set of strong mathematic and astronomy principles. The calculations are not made in isolation but by taking into account the effect of planetary bodies in conjunction with the person’s karma. Hence there tends to be a high level of accuracy and consistency in what is predicted...askpundit
