I have venus in 1st, i definitely have a sweet tooth, not all the time but when it hits im eating reeses dipped in caramel with whip cream...does anyone else have experience with venus creating a sweet tooth?IP: Logged |

Maybe, mine came late in life. When I was younger I only liked savory and salty snacks/foods didnt have my first cavity till I was like 18 or 19. Now I do enjoy sweets, just cant be too sweet or artificially sweet tasting. IP: Logged |

i have mars and venus conjunct in the 1st house and i have a sweet AND savory tooth! ( i always thought that was due to my taurus sun)IP: Logged |

Moon - Jupiter hard aspects can also indicate a sweet tooth. I have Moon square Jupiter and I used to be overweight due to a sweets addiction, now I've curbed the addiction a bit with a new vice - drinking, haha! IP: Logged |

i dont know, but i do have Venus in the 1st and my sweet tooth is crrraaaaaazzyyyi also have jupiter in pisces trine venus/asc, and sag moon..so yes i guess you could say i'm over-indulgent in any of the pleasures in life..hehehe IP: Logged |

I have Venus in 1st, though not as close to the ASC as yours, Gabby. I enjoy sweets as much as anyone does, but not excessively. Sometimes I get in a chocolate mood. I do enjoy quality ice creams, such as dense Ben & Jerry stuff. ...A sugar overload I'm just perceiving as so bad for one, lately. I've cut a lot of it out of my diet. (Of course--I've already opened the bag of Halloween Kit Kat's I bought last week!)But my real craving is mostly salty chips--especially corn chips. Sometimes I've wondered if this is due to a lack of earth in my chart--and wanting to "ground" myself with the salt of the earth, as it were. As others have mentioned with Sag influences (Sag Asc, Jupiter CONJ Asc here), I have no problem considering half of a large bag a "serving" for myself. I could enjoy gobbling down snacks with abandon, if I weren't disciplined and conscious of the health effects, but perhaps lots of people are like that. IP: Logged |

LOL, half the bag as a serving sounds totally spot on!! I do the same thing when my sweet tooth hits...but like you, i also go through stages of wanting salt, those salt n vinegar chips are my vice! Ive always craved salt just as much as sugar! IP: Logged |

Nope - at least not in my BF's case. He has Virgo Venus Rx in the 1st and absolutely, usually, hates sweets. He's an extremely picky eater in general though... it's very frustrating to me, as I'm a really experimental 'foodie' type and it's hard for me to cook for him.  He usually likes organic sweets - dark chocolate, very expensive dessert at a restaurant now and then, and chocolate milk if he has to drink milk. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in conjunction with ASC and Mercury and I really don't care for sweets. Especially not the REALLY sweet stuff. I prefer salty snacks and food. I was never really into candy or cake. Not even as a child.

I am addicted to salty snacks. And I am like 90% earth - so I doubt it's a lack of earth in your case...?
