On 0800-horoscope website it says: House VIII in Aquarius
An unexpected inheritance. Makes sense from my mothers side. IP: Logged |

I suppose any inheritance is unexpected but not really.. I assumed I would of received something eventually, I guess the family politics have died down.. My grandfather probably thought I would be living there Maybe I will one day. I'm the first born male of kin so I actually received the biggest inheritance amongst my cousins.

Venus and Jupiter in my 8th, with ruler of 8th in the 8th house. No inheritance or money given. All i've earned, i earned myself. But then again, the ruler of my 2nd is in the 6th - hard work earnings. IP: Logged |

My Sun and Jupiter are in 8th, so...still waiting on that one. Although I'm not in a big hurry to have anyone close to me die, so if it doesn't happen that'a a good thing, right? My mom has property and some assets, etc., that I'm sure I will inherit at some point, whatever it's worth. I'd prefer that she stay a while, though. Other than that, I do tend to be better off financially when I have a partner. I'm better off financially now than I ever have been, and that's because my husband makes a lot more money than I do. My ex also had a bit of money there for a while, and I benefited from that. Fingers crossed that I won't have to worry about an inheritance anytime soon. Also, my husband and I will eventually inherit my father in-law's property, so there's that as well. But so far...nope. And I'm in my late thirties. IP: Logged |

I've had a lot of family members die in the last 10 or so years, but I've never inherited anything (actually, when my grandfather died two years ago, my mother and I were the only ones to not get anything)! When my mother dies, I should receive her life insurance benefit...Less the cost of a funeral, I guess that's an inheritance? Won't be much, though. I've got my Mercury in the 8th. In some house systems, my Sun falls into the 8th, as well. The ruler of my 8th (Mars) is in the 5th. ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

It's funny, I only want one or two things; the things that most represented that person to me, i.e. a quilt I made for them, a kitchen utensil that I frequently saw them use, an old Family Bible (genealogy) or an Herbal Manual... things of that nature. When I did get a house, it did not come with all the red tape, just the enjoyment. I guess it was when my Part of Fortune (posited in the Eighth, but Conjunct Cusp of the Ninth) had Transiting Pluto and Part of Fortune Conjunct right there, but both sitting in the Ninth. I haven't inherited much of anything and I'm really kinda sad since I have the moon in my eighth. My mom inherited money and land when her mother died and she has nothing in her eighth and lots going on in twelfth and eleventh, mostly twelfth. Jupiter's in eleven.IP: Logged |

It's in Virgo in the twelfth house but still. Just about everything in her chart is in twelve, eleven and ten and she inherited quite a bit when her mother passed away. It's in the twelfth, not the eighth. I think of inheritance as more twelfth and MC, and maybe a little eighth. IP: Logged |

My mom also inherited property when my grandma passed, and although the grandchildren didn't receive anything too specific, I am very content to have her jewelry box that she used to let me and my cousin play with when we were young, and her dishes, etc.I think the idea is that when my mom passes I will inherit basically everything she has, since I'm her only child and my step-dad just recently passed. I don't know what that will look like, though. I don't concern myself with it too much. But I do remember reading that planets in 8th indicate inheritance (my Sun is my chart ruler, and as it's in Pisces, having Jupiter there makes it kind of personal as well, but my Sun is opposite my Moon and square my Neptune, and all that business). I wonder about it sometimes, but I don't like to think about it much, because I assume it would come from someone close to me. :/ IP: Logged |

8H Pisces moon hereFor the most part I am living off of a big and totally unexpected inheritance. As Violets said, I would much rather have my loved ones alive than inherit anything; this wasn't my preference, it just is what it is. IP: Logged |

I have moon in 8th house (Taurus cusp) and I haven't inherited anything yet. I have Scorpio/Pluto 2nd house which also apparently foretells of an inheritance. I don't have a great relationship with my dad, but I'm his only living relative in the world, and according to my mom he has hundreds of thousands of dollars hidden away somewhere. It'd be nice if that's what my 8th house means by 'inheritance' Although, the moon being placed there suggests money would be from the maternal side. IP: Logged |

I have Moon conjunct Pluto, plus a Jupiter, Saturn, Venus conjunction all in 8th house Libra. I'm also a Scorpio sun, Mercury and Uranus. I did inherit a significant amount of money when I was 20 years old from my maternal grandfather. At the time it seemed great, although it really hindered my own drive and ambition that I'd had from a very young age. In highschool I already owned stocks with my own money, and I had been making jewelry and decorative seasonal items to sell since elementary school. The inheritance made me less driven to achieve success on my own. It was a lot of money for a 20 year old, but now at 33 I'd probably be making twice that amount per year if I hadn't become so lazy from being handed a wad of cash at such a critical point in my life. It did teach me that the things that make me happy cannot be bought, so it pretty much made me totally uninterested in material wealth. It was a very valuable lesson about where to place my priorities in life.IP: Logged |

8th house Saturn in Pisces, conjunct Chiron. Received a small inheritance long since gone. Needed every penny to live on. Family passed in a bunch, within a few years of each other (parents and grandparents).Read also that 8th house also has to do with potential for earning LARGE sums of money, as in, what's your potential to be a Bill Gates, Ted Turner or Aristotle Onassis, as opposed to mundane income like that shown by the 2nd house. With my 8th in Pisces, hm, guess that would have to do with the sea, ships and so on... Can anyone loan me a few bob to buy my own cruise ship??! IP: Logged |

So far it looks like those who have outer planets in 8th have better chances of inheritance than those who have personal planets in 8th.IP: Logged |

Sorry I meant the actual degrees where her 8th house begins. For example mine begins in late Sagittarius and opposes my Venus in the Second house.

Her eighth house begins at 11 degrees 18 minutes Taurus and what's neat is my Saturn conjuncts the cusp of this house and sun trines it and I am her child. They form a grand trine with the cusp of my natal Capricorn IC. Makes sense because the MC is kinda related to standing in the world and what you give to the world, which could indicate children, since they are a part of your legacy. Saturn is the planet of responsibility and when people have kids they take on more of those than they had before. Saturn is traditionally related to the MC while Sun is the soul. Your soul lives on through your children. The IC is about motherhood. It's cool because there's also a kite formation between Saturn, sun and MC with the IC opposite forming the backbone of the kite. Now I am thinking legacy is a complex pattern in the chart involving more than one house and planets, including the sun. MC is what you give to the world, eighth house is what you create with your partner, fifth house is your willingness to get married (their attitude toward courtship and engagement while seventh house is the actual marriage.) Maybe the houses past the fifth can be read to figure out more about the family one has with their partner (opposed to the family they have by circumstance of birth, houses one through four.) I agree in some regards. The MC traditionally represents the parent usually the mother so with that kite that has formed in her chart, that could explain her inheritance from her mother.IP: Logged |

Yes. But it was something I'd inherit anyway once my parents died. Uranus and Neptune in 8th. Aspects to the 8th house cusp; Inconjunction to Jupiter (3rd house) adjustments had to be made I guess, due to my siblings. Sextile Moon (10th house). Neither of my siblings have planets in their 8th house (my brother has chiron there?), but their 8th house cusps have some really good aspects. They both got something too. IP: Logged |

My family has a trust from an old farm that we still preserve in Mass. Worth a lot..I am technically a part of it but I always feel like they at trying to push me out of it subtly..I don't know I might just be distrusting of my family. They are all very greedy people. I have an 8th house stellium.. Mars NN venus Uranus and Neptune. I've always lived simply, been broke, been up and down plenty of times. Hmm. IP: Logged |
