There will always be, trying economic times for someone. There will always be some people looking for work and or trying to earn some extra money. How do you find some earning power answers, in your natal chart? Here are a few ideas. Share your thoughts, include your suggestions.
Material Things:
Money, credit cards, transport vehicles, real estate, stocks & bonds, neighborhood store, furniture and fixtures, cloths and of course, electronics.
HOUSES that lend to the possession of things.
1st (& or Asc) - Your ability to sell and or buy through contracts.
2nd - your ability to buy with cash, pay off credit cards. Your cash flow. The items you own - excluding real estate.
3rd - your ability to get transport vehicles. Work with local family members. Your communication skills through local advertising and mail orders. Telemarketing and radio work. News broadcasters. Be a real estate salesperson. Have a website.
4th - your ability to get a home and or business and store fronts. Buy real estate. Own a farm. Own a restaurant. Own stocks. (This house is a major supporter of wealthy people).
5th - your ability to sell and or give service surrounding beauty products. Musicians, actors and, athletes. Gamblers. Own an entertainment establishment. Child care services. Buying & selling sports gear, music equipment and or, electronic equipment. Buy and selling arts and crafts and or garden items. Toy stores.
6th - your ability to work. General skilled and unskilled labors and maintenance workers. Buy and sell insurances. Be a landlord. Work in all areas of the food industry. Farmers. Health Vitamins and food supplements. Work with pets. Work in all areas dealing with cloths. The Armed Forces. Police work. Peace Corp. Volunteer work.
7th - your ability to work with the public at large. Form and sign contracts, buy and sell items. Your 5th & 10th house following.

10th (& or Mc) - your ability to project an image. Be a small business owner, hire people (Synastry Astrology works well with this house influence). Be a coach.
11th - your ability to work with and serve civic groups, associations, committees and or, cancer support activities. Work through electronic devices. Counsel we seek out, i.e. Attorney, astrologer, accountant, self-help counselor. Your participation as a board member.

Mc - planets on the Mc or in the 10th. Look for support Trines with the 2nd and 6th house. Saturn or Pluto in this house position must, only, be in Trine with something to work here.
Asc - planets on the Asc. Look for Mercury and or Jupiter conjunct this position, excellent for signing contracts.
Des - planets on the Des. Look for Mercury and or Jupiter conjunct this position, excellent for signing contracts.

If the house has two signs in it, then both sign influences apply. The major sign is on the cusp of the house.
This is a self-help thread.
You can apply all of the house descriptions to your natal chart house positions. You have to search for the aspects. If you do not have any of the aspects, then focus on the planets in your house and sign. Two or more planets in your house or sign becomes your strong points of interest. If you have "a" planet per sign or house, then focus on the rulers of each sign for guidance. Apply the aspect principles to the aspects you do have. Then try to determine the favorable routes of least resistance.
Astrologically speaking, use what you see in your natal to help you make the best decisions possible for earning extra money for yourself. Remember, Astrology is a statistical tool used to inform you of possibilities, it never provides you with an absolute given.
