Anyone experienced this? What was the orb when you began to feel the effects. And what did you notice? I don't have my Venus and Mars aspecting in my natal so I'm not sure how that would feel. IP: Logged |

Because Venus is involved this denotes an inner urge to be part of a relationship. I'd say it's a relationship forming influence with a strong emphasis on physical love making. "I Want a Man!!" would be the jungle-cry of someone who has neglected the romantic sphere of their life during this passage. Expect the personality to soften, when you become yielding, agreeable, pleasant company - an attractive package. A ripe fruit begging to be picked. I use a three degree orb. IP: Logged |

Thanks for your response Nine  It's actually at an exact applying 3 degree orb now but so far, there's not a lot of yielding going on with me. I wonder if this is because my Pr. Sun is in Leo exactly conjunct (at 0 degrees but separating) my Pr. Saturn and IC. I was thinking it was probably going to take at least 6 months to a year to feel any positive influence from the Venus/Mars because of that. I can tell you that I'm definitely lonely and lacking my usual intense mojo and part of me would love a relationship but I think my Sun has to move further away from Saturn. What do you think? I'll agree with you, Saturn is one big wet blanket. He could be the reason you're not seeing anything of this aspect yet.I remember when my pMars sq my nSaturn then pSaturn, it was awful, definitely lost my mojo. Thought it was an age thing. pMars is now 11 Gem, pSaturn 10 Virgo & I'm back. For sure I was dragged through the mud, pMoon in Cappy in conjunction didn't help either. It is said Saturn is an insistent little &%^^*&. Whatever area he's drawing your attention to it's best to take care of it. It'd be a shame if you ignored him, only to bump into him during this romantic emergent new "aspect". /sermon. But yea, I agree with you, the Saturn to Sun/Self is preventing you from softening up. Ouch. That must have been tough. I like the fact that once it passed the 1 degree mark, separating, you started to notice a difference! Gives me a little needed hope. Yep, I definitely feel like I have to deal with what's laid in front of me right now and things will happen romantically when they do. I'm actually mostly okay with that part, it's the lack of essential energy that feels the worst - like my personality is on mute. One thing I did notice that was interesting is that this coming January 1st I'll have Pr. Moon and Pr. Mars conjunct my natal Juno (0 degree orb, applying) and Pr. Mercury conjunct my natal Mars (0 degree orb, also applying), with Venus closing in (still at 3 degree applying orb). As well I will have an exact trine of Pr. Moon to natal Moon though not sure how soft aspects work in progressions but I'm sure it can't hurt. I also checked out the transits for that day and I have Jupiter (ruler of my DSC and 8th house) conjunct my S/M midpoint, transiting Moon conjunct natal Mars, transiting Mars conjunct natal MC, transiting Juno opposite natal Sun and Venus and transiting Saturn conjunct natal NN (yikes!!). And wow, also transiting Neptune trine Sun and Venus. All those aspects are 1 degree or less. Hoping this means a good start to a new year and that Saturn is not still bogging me down like you mentioned  Maybe that's when I'll start to feel more myself (fingers crossed!) IP: Logged |
