Topic: aflicted moon in 6th Hypochondria?

i read somewhere that having this placement would cause the person to be hypochondriac.i forgot where i read it. i am hypochondriac. sometimes it can get pretty bad, other times i can ignore the thoughts. i also have MANY phobias, that i just cant seem to get over. is there anyone else here than has this placement who is also hypochondriac? or even if you dont have this placement, but are infact hypchondriac, what in your chart do you believe would point to this?IP: Logged |

I am a hypochondriac. I have RULER of the 6th in the 1st. This is a sign for one, too  ------------------

Well the sixth is associated with physical health...sure, it's playing out for you as hypochondria, but that isn't for everyone with the placement - for some it might just mean a general interest in health, or wanting to serve, that sort of thing. I have Mars in the 6th and in my late childhood years I wanted to be a doc, or work for the CDC as an epidemiologist, or in the Hot Zone on Ebola and AIDS, that kinda thing. A year or two ago I played around with the idea of maybe going back to school to become a medical scientist. IP: Logged |

I have an afflicted moon in my 6th. I am not one. I barely ever get sick. But my moon is 20 minutes from my DC so it also can be interpreted as in my 7th. IP: Logged |

i rarely get sick too. and even then, its just a runny nose, or a headache. never been hospitalized either. but even the smallest twitches in my body make me panic. making me think i have some serious life threatening disease. and i start researching sympthoms,because i am "sure" that twitch in my eye , is a result of a developing incurable brain tumor.LOL! even though a small part of me is saying "dude really? nothing's wrong". sometimes i go to the doctors for a regular annual checkup, or to pick up some papers for school or a job. and even before meeting with the doctor, im already panicking, feeling nauseous. while im imagining the doctor just taking one look at me, and tell me i have cancer or something. my imagination is very very wild and vivid. that doesn't help one bit. i guess this can also be all the neptune contacts in my chart? im also a pisces ascendantIP: Logged |

I'm not a hypochondriac per say but... I can get a lot of health issues, weird phobias now and again, etc. In my Moon persona chart I have Pluto in the 6th which is a sign of a lot of health problems, including obsessions, phobias, and eating disorders. I have my 6H ruler, Venus, in the 11th conjunct Jupiter, but trust me - I'm not lucky by far with health problems. IP: Logged |

ANY afflicted planet in the 6th can cause hypochondria, but the moon may be a lttle worse since by nature it tends to be fearful.
I am just as you described yourself and I have sun conjunct pluto there and also saturn that is not in conjunction with them, but is squaring my moon in the 8th.
More than anything I was always scared of sexually transmitted diseases(pluto?). I also was forced to watch my uncle die of AIDS when I was a small child and half my family are in the medical field though I hate it myself. Just a doctors office is enough to give me the chills, lol. Yikes.IP: Logged |

Oh wait. Maybe I can be like this. But I never even have broken a bone. I do get pink eye though bc it always seems to get passed around my work and I wear contacts. I call it my Achilles heel I love going to the doctors IP: Logged |

wow you love going to doctors? thats a first. i hate it soo bad, then even a month prior to my doctors appointment, im thinking of ways to dodge it lol. doctors and dentists(the worst) make me panic. and there is NO way, i'd go to a psychiatrists, or therapists etc.IP: Logged |

i have moon square pluto (pluto in the 8th in scorp), and i also have a serious fear of contracting sexually transmitted diseases. this phobia is one of the many reasons why i am celibate too. but this doesn't stop me from flirting (heavily) lol. IP: Logged |
