Topic: I'm attracted to my Twelfth House

This is.... Ugh!My twelfth house ruler is in my twelfth house and without fail, the guys that IMMEDIATELY get my attention are those that have their sun in there. I try to avoid 12th house connections; just don't know what to do about it! It's my Mars that's in there!! I need that Mars! I can't just pretend it's not there..! IP: Logged |

mars is not only about sex and partners...put your mars energy into other parts of your lifethere are a lot of people who are attracted to "the wrong people" some way or another....eventually youl find ways to resist  IP: Logged |

But mars and sun are about the men one is attracted to as is the moon and venus in regards to women...

but it depends on aspects and other factors in the chart... your venus AND your moon will need to be satisfyed one way or another...not just mars and sun... IP: Logged |

That's true. Very vivid attraction from both sides. I don't know his birth time, but it seems that he could have his Moon conjunct my SN, and both of our Saturns are exactly conjunct each other's North Nodes. maube he connects to parts of you that you didnt know you have....it can have quite the effect

if you can find someone who has there jupiter conjunct, it could be a good thing...expanding your mars to be readily available...aspects are key...if the planets they have falling in your 12th, have positive aspects in their chart as they conjunct your planets....they could help you open up to the energy the 12th house is making hard to use by bringing that 12th house mars into the light of their sun's positive aspects! That website is awful if someone is trying to get real information. It's the equivalent of someone doing compatibility based on their sun signs and reading their sun horoscope in the sunday paper. Thanks, though. I appreciate that u took the time to get that piece for this. IP: Logged |

This is out of left field but... Are you a Taurus rising? Where is Neptune in your chart? If Neptune is in your 7th or 8th house this may explain your attraction to 12th house synastry, along with the fact that Mars (which rulers men as suitors among other things) is in your 12th house. I'm not one that believes the 12th house is all bad. I just don't buy that stereotype. Yes, the 12th house has it's escapist, addictive, deceptive side... But it also has it's mystical, love and light, 'lets rise above pettiness' side... If you feel you are always attracting the negative side of the 12th, maybe if you focus on only wanting to attract the positive side (ya know, in a 'law of attraction' visualization type way) it may help you attract more of an 'Angel', rather then a 'Hopeless Case' (both of which can be symbolically related to the 12th). I'm not sure that we can totally avoid certain parts of our destiny/karma... But I have noticed that a positive attitude does help improve things in subtle ways. IP: Logged |

Not long ago, there was a post about Venus Behind the Curtain , or something like that. I'm sure you were the person who recommened that the poster start making friends with men in prison. Perhaps you could use that wise piece of advice on yourself? IP: Logged |

That was wonderful!  neptune is right on the cusp of my eighth and ninth. I have pluto in the sixth conjunct desc in the sign of my 7th; taurus rising, indeed. My mars is part of a cardinal cross.. It's sextiled by jupiter, squared by neptune, chiron and opposes my mercury.. Even though i've been able to make things happen (such as fantasies coming true) it's been interesting to stay in *that* mindframe. I can maybe give it a go as pluto has gone direct and is about to enter my ninth again. Thanks! Usually, it's been me that's been dubbed the "angel" by these people.

How about perhaps you could maybe study a little and take into consideration that there is a difference between passive venus and aggressive mars; especially with it being in the twelfth. I find this 12th house description very, very true, once your soul is craving to heal!! When and if your ready to deal with what and why part of you is lost in your 12th house. If your still afraid to look at yourself and come to terms with why your denying or hiding from certain parts of yourself, then the 12th house will be terrifying!
A place you don't want to go and will avoid at all cost!
But if your soul is craving healing and leading you towards recovering whatever is lost to your 12th and uncovering whatever it was that caused the need to hide it away...then finding someone with a 12th house conjunction will be a friend who's there to hold your hand! I know this 1st hand...when my soul was longing to reconnect with my 12th house virgo moon and heal emotionally....i unconsciously sought people with conjunctions to my moon.
The 1st, had a mars and moon conjunction, but a saturn/sun sq...he was very cruel and in the end i finally learned to defend myself, out of his cruelty i broke from being a victim.
But it was the next person i sought out that really helped me heal. His pluto conjuncted my 12th house virgo moon, then his venus(exact)/sun(4 degrees)/mercury(2 degrees) trined it....he was the catalyst to me seeing how emotionally cruel i was to myself, picking myself apart and denying love because to me i wasn't ever good enough to deserve love. He helped me see I would always be lonely if i didnt learn to allow love into me by 1st accepting and loving myself!
Trust me, even when your ready, nothing in the 12th house is easy...12th house holds the pain that we are afraid to see, holds the memories that we want to forget, its the things we deny that quietly rip us apart...
but when your soul is tired of the pain, and ready to see these things...you will look for people who will hold your hand and walk into the 12th house with you. Its so much easier if your not so alone in that dark scary house! But only if they are there as a support system, not bringing more pain and forcing you to face it by hurting you...which can also be the case if their aspects to the planet that falls in your 12th are bad!
I spent many night crying, and this pluto man never let me cry myself to sleep alone...long distance relationship, but he stayed on the phone with me until i was all cried and was back to feeling ok! He had the patience of a saint and cared and understood me without words...he didnt care that he lost sleep, all he cared about was helping me break through the pain so that i finally saw my value. I've been writing a book about what i experienced while going through this, and you'd better bet in the book this man is being thanked for his compassion and honored for genuine unconditional love!
So that description is the absolute perfect description of a 12th house relationship on the positive side(because there is always a negative side to)...but you will only understand and identify with that when your experiencing a soul thats ready to heal, doesnt matter if its your soul or the soul of somebody you deeply care about!
So if you dont understand that description its because you havent experienced it! I have, i know its an accurate description! Some ppl live by their soul, and the author writing those descriptions on that site, obviously is one of those people! IP: Logged |
