I liked most of the description for NN in the 6th house and agree with it, however I do not like/agree with the word 'subordinate'. I see that as somewhat of a cold word and I am more of the belief that we are all equals. The word humility or the act of being humble (in order to be of service to others) much more accurately expresses a 6th house NN (IMO).

Other than that it's pretty accurate

I read mine and immediately went "That's bull5h1t" lol.

It's a little simplistic to say everyone with NN in the sixth is supposed to be a maid and wait-on and serve people. Service comes in many forms. The sixth is also health-care, jobs, so on and so forth.

Just because someone has NN in the sixth (or a ton of planetary placements there), doesn't mean they're meant to slave for other people. Remember, public office (politics) and stuff like that is really a form of "service" too.

My NN sign is Leo, and it's in the sixth. I'm supposed to serve or help humanity by leading (Leo) in some way, is how I had another astrologer describe it to me - when I didn't get it still they gave Jesus' life as an example.

In short? The interpretations on that site are a little simplistic or short-sighted. I wouldn't be surprised if they said NN in the fifth is supposed to have sex constantly or something LMAO.

^ imo, that's the worst example that astrologer could've given you seeing as how your south node is in the twelfth house.

I really identified with my south node description (third house), not at all with the north node description.

Maybe that's the point. Maybe I'm not old enough yet to identify with my NN lesson.

If you are inwardly insecure, you will either avoid your destiny or you will seek it in the wrong direction. Your ego subconsciously knows what its fate will be if you give yourself away in real intimacy.  Death is an ever-present unpleasant reminder of the ego's own impermanence and you try to avoid all thought of it. Power and sexuality, when approached from an egoistic standpoint, can become powerful distractions and substitutions for your pursuit of real destiny and growth.  You may acquire a Don Juan complex as you pursue sexual conquest as your destiny or you may acquire a Napoleon complex if you focus on power as your "destiny."

quote:
South Node in the Second
You are likely to have a comfort-level or sense of complacency about values and possessions, although a challenging aspect to the Nodes may cause you to be dissatisfied with your material position and/or your pre-existing value system.  Because you are so comfortable with your values or material circumstances, you may find further development of this aspect of life to be so pleasurable that it becomes a distraction from more important and necessary personality-development tasks.
If the South Node is conjunct another planet in your chart, you  are likely to have unresolved issues from past lives that entangle you, hold you back or draw you into a negative complex.  These issues are likely to be associated with the values, possessiveness or attachment to material goods.  They will also involve the function symbolized by the conjunct planet.  The challenge for you is to sort out those predispositions and innate qualities that are valuable and those that need to be given up.  Then, through a reconstruction of your value system, you must purify your attitude and state of consciousness concerning your material possessions.
Transcendent Potential
You can realize the transcendent potential of the South Node in the Second House when. grounded with an innate sense of what is truly valuable in life, you become less concerned with the accumulation of wealth and the enjoyment of possessions, whether you have these in this life or not.  You know that your real resource is not material, but that Treasure which you possess within yourself.  The question is not, "How much do I have?", but "What is it that is of real value and to what extent do I possess what is Real."  Of course, the very concept of "possession" is foreign to Reality, for who is there to possess anything, but He/She who is the Owner of All.  Through a thorough examination of your value system and a constant examination of your fidelity to the highest of values, you come to realize these things and relinquish your attachment to all that is unreal.
Insecurity
If you are inwardly insecure, you will be focused on what you believe to be your innate right to wealth and possessions and you will, also, define your worth by how much you own.  If you are blessed with material security, you may fear losing it and, thus, becoming a "nobody."  Or, to show others and prove to yourself the "importance" that wealth confers, you may waste and abuse your privilege through your bad habits.  If you are not fated to have wealth and possessions in this life, you will think that you should and you will be envious of others.  You will always be trying to obtain material goods, but your negative attitudes, fears and behavior may make it difficult for you to achieve your desire.  Whether you have material possessions or not, you will remain attached to them and you will be their slave throughout your life.

What is the eternal here and now? I cannot comprehend ever staying in the present.

I'm always thinking ahead or worrying about something from the past. I guess I haven't really "evolved" that PIsces NN in the 3rd H. If anything I've clung to my SN in Virgo in the 9th H.

Yeah it helps. I also have Moon in Pisces in the 3rd which kinda accentuates never living in the present. Pisces energy can be very paranoid at times and I'm definitely prone to it.

And its really incompatible with the rest of my chart cause I've got some Aries energy too - Mars in Aries. And I'm a Leo Sun with Sag ASC
