EDIT: http://ascendingstarseed.wordpress.com/2012/09/24/mercury-retrograde-election-day-astrology-is-no-excuse-by-eric-francis/

I admit to not keeping up with the race nor any current events as i couldn't really care less.

I was invited to see that obama movie yesterday... But, i fell asleep. So, since i know very little about what the candidates represent, can someone sum up the pros and cons of each for those like me who have the option of voting but know squat diddly about where either of em stand?

I just gave a quick glance at their charts.. Romney is under a whole lot of neptune transit and once s-aturn enters sagittarius, it'll square his mars, mercury and sun before the 4 year term is up... Obama will have it square his sun during the transit before it reaches his MC; it seems that either way, Ron Paul seems like the best potential candidate, eh?

I considered voting for Romney simply because i feel his uranus in his first house.. I figure that any change may be better than no change and as s-aturn has moved through libra, stability has been maintained but it's downright boring. :/

With obama's south node in aquarius, i get the feeling that we'll be having to wait another 4 years for the economy to get rolling; it's never the "right time" for people with that placement...!

I guess we'll see what happens.. Maybe there'll be a recount as mercury will be going retrograde during the elction phase.

I doubt it would even be close enough for a recount. Obama's going to win.

If that happens, I am going under the bed and never coming out, so if you don't hear from me, that is why

The Electoral College makes everything unfair anyway, so there is no point in voting .

If that happens, I think Canada will just disconnect from America. Or even better! Like Gaga put it:

I would say look at the actual policies that matter to you then decide who most closely mirrors that. I would only use astrology to try to predict who will win.

I haven't figured out how to do that, yet..

I looked only to see how it is that they'll handle it and obama is going to be feeling the heat almost immediately whereas the other guy, he'll get a lax two years before he gets bulldozed with issue after issue.

Even if obama does get in, it's as if he'll not catch a break... Effort after effort of his are more than likely just gonna be knocked down back to back by this whole "conservative/liberal" thing that seems to be going on.

Even if he does win, who really wins?

I'm hoping they sort it because i'm pretty sure there are a LOT of other people who don't look forward to another 4 years of sitting around, twirling their thumbs.

Neptune is associated with empathy and even martyrdom, willing to go the distance for others.

Aquarius is associated with Uranus and known for being ahead of its time.

Saturn in Libra = boring is better than chaos, unless you just get off on drama.

Nice try, better luck next time.

Ron Paul is so libertarian that he believes the government should force half the population to donate their bodies so another can survive.

I hope Obama doesn't keep bankrupting the country. At least he ended the war. But whatever greater debt we were creating bc of money spent on the war, he tripled in printing out money

I'm picturing you saying, "I am Ami Anne, and I approve of this message", really authoritatively, in a deep voice (like Don LaFontaine).

You just sounded really official there
