i have capricorn ic but my 4th is mostly aquarius. i'd say i don't need a lot of space but it helps to have high ceilings. i've lived in a 40 sqm. apartment and a 150 sqm. i'm not sure exactly about the 40 but even that was too big for me. it had 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 laundry areas, a living room. i guess the dining was the other bedroom lol! i have moon opposite the ic. i don't stay home often only in the recent years. saturn transiting my 12th (f.u. saturn!) i guess i would have venus square ic and pluto square ic too. ugh.. the ruler of my ic is saturn in scorpio. that's in h1. opposite my sun and venus, loosely conjunct my mars and sextile jupiter. The more, the better! I love open concept houses because it's so...open! High ceilings are gorgeous, and I love large windows. I don't need a lot of rooms, but I always liked the idea of a sitting room...some place to drink tea, eat muffins, enjoy company. Sagittarius IC, Jupiter in the Third/Scorpio. I also want few people to know how my house looks, and even fewer to actually enter or stay in it. IP: Logged |

I have a Virgo IC. I need a moderate amount of space, something I can move freely in. And even though I'm a messy person I do feel most relaxed in a clean environment. Sometimes people won't like, say, tomatoes or pickles but I never let people touch my food, or share drinks. Ever. I'm almost like MONK (TV show) when it comes to that.IP: Logged |

i dont need too much space, but i do like a lot of space with lots of cushy, homey elements to make it cozy. like a big room with high ceilings, but with a huge couch, lots of comfy furniture and decorative things on the walls and ceiling to make it more closed in..Aquarius IC/4th IP: Logged |

i think i like my things few but expensive. i wouldn't mind living in a tiny loft in the priciest building in the city. those are usually moderately huge anyway. at least for 1 person. in my old apartment i could hear an echo lol i only really used 1 room. IP: Logged |

I hate high ceilings. Feels really unnecessary and cold. I prefer a "normal" sized apartment with moderately high ceilings. I like my apartment to be this nice, comfortable, little space where I can submerge from the world.SCORPIO IC IP: Logged |

Taurus ic 29th degree Moon conjunct Saturn in Gemini in 4thI'd love a house immaculately furnished and plush (nice thick carpets, cusions, warm luxurious curtains). Kind of cosy too. Lamps and candles everywhere. Wouldn't need high ceilings or anything. It wouldn't need to be too big but I'd need my own private space where I could have breatjing space away from the family. In reality, my house is small, gloomy (faces north so gets no sun) and very chilly with bare wooden floors It scrubs up well enough but I hate that it's so cold! IP: Logged |

Pisces IC. Neptune conjunct Uranus, Neptune sextile Scorp Jupiter-Venus and Pluto, trine Virgo Moon, Chiron & MC.True to what I've read about Pisces IC, I've always grown up around water - a marsh by my old house, a long and very beautiful stream by my new house (and a small lake-like area outback that fills up when it rains heavily). I like to have a large bedroom, to feel more at peace... I need a lot of walking space. I like high windows and lots of natural light since fluorescence gives me a headache (I'm hypersensitive). I need to have my decorations just so, lots of tasteful art on the walls that reflect my artistic and film interests, lots of eccentric and eclectic stuff. When I get my apartment I'm going to decorate it in a really modern and artsy way. IP: Logged |

Third Decanate (Cancer-Pisces): They instinctively know what people; and because they gravitate to careers that cater to these needs and work hard giving service they succeed exceptionally well. The ability to work long and hard gives monetary reward. With Capricorn-Virgo on the nadir, they need to stop being secretly critical. Even though they may not voice their criticism, it can affect their health. Strong drives to keep the household organized can sap their energy and they do not feel secure. This gives a tendency to worry about little details while neglecting the big ones. ----- More often than not, Saturn has at least a few difficult aspects in a chart. When this is true, the Capricorn IC may feel rejected by that parent, and may have felt an excess of coolness, reserve, and caution in his relationship with that parent. Sometimes this can indicate the lack of presence of that parent, whether physical or emotional. The parent may not have been around. Separation by death or by distance is possible, as well as a detached attitude. Capricorn IC can photograph that parent with deep insecurities. The parent may have 'stayed in his own playpen' for safety's sake and transmitted those same safety messages to the child with Capricorn IC. In the extreme, the parent's deep insecurities convey a 'you're no good' message to this child. The examination of the aspects to Saturn in a natal chart is extremely important in enabling the individual with this IC to fulfill his highest potential and purpose later in life. The personality can tell how far out of his playpen he has climbed by the kind of environment he chooses. If he lives in dark, small places, he may feel a safety ensured by having little elbow room, but still be plagued by the inherited insecurities. Many times, even if the individual lives in a large, spacious, airy home, he may have some small corner that he can call his own. That niche represents his safety and security in some way, almost like going back into the womb. The fears related to wanting to keep to such a small, safe place are directly connected with the overly cautious, overly judgemental messages transmitted by the parent of the opposite sex. A turning point in that relationship can come when the Capricorn IC is able to encourage the parent to steadily climb out of the limiting circumstances. When he can overlook the negativity and see the insecurity or heavy programming or conditioning in the parent's childhood, the Capricorn IC may even motivate himself by a sense of responsibility to that parent, thereby fulfilling his ultimate potential in the long run. The healing of the karmic relationship comes through love. It is possible that the controlling, limiting messages from that parent were motivated by a fear that the Capricorn IC child would forget his filial duty, going out into the world never to come home again. Many times, fearing his own imperfection, one with this IC can use his home situation as an excuse for avoidance of his highest sense of duty. He will tend to his home base stoically, keeping everything spotless, but eventually will feel trapped and limited. If he can knock down the walls of his playpen and convert it to a trampoline, he will always have the security of his home base to return to after his ventures out into the world around him. http://god-messages.com/news/midheaven-cancer.htm IP: Logged |

I have IC in Sagittarius conjuncting my Sun. I enjoy having my house as a place to "recharge my batteries" after a long day outside working, playing, or socializing, so it needs to be like my ideal place. It needs to be well furnished, but also spacious. I've lived in cramped houses before, and it drives me crazy. Even if the house isn't necessarily small, if there are too many people, I tend to hide away in my room to avoid the noises and disruptions. My ideal place would give me enough space so that I'm not running into everybody I see at home, well-designed, smells good, with lots of books. IP: Logged |

I have my IC in Virgo Square Uranus. And I need space and lots of it!!!In terms of how I like a house...the typical Virgo things apply I clean when I'm stressed lol (I'm a Cancer Sun/Asc/Mars so the IC is a big deal for me lol), and everything has a place. I would say the most important part of a place for me is the master bedroom closest. I'm a typical Taurus Venus/7th house moon woman so I LOVE clothing/shoes and purses. So I need a large closet. In terms of living with others, I don't want to live with a significant other. Living with friends is ok. Or if I do I REALLY want my own space and room in a place we have together. I can't even sleep in the same bed as another person as I feel trapped and caged in. I think the Virgo placement Square Uranus makes me need TONS of space even emotionally (Uranus needs space)...but also on a physical level (Virgo an earth placement). IP: Logged |
