What in the natal chart would show strength...morally, physically, strength of character..What could one do to bring out these traits, astrologically, nurture and help them grow? thanks terri~ IP: Logged |

In my opinion moral strength is shown by jupiter,maybe saturn as well,positive aspects to sun might also help.Physical strength is basically shown by mars,in my own experience mars/pluto,mars/jupiter give tremendous strength.Character strength might be anything,depends on situation the person goes through. I think Saturn placements conjunctions, sextiles, oppositions or trines even squares on personal planets can show strength they can show areas of personal grow and perservance if handled properly.Jupiter conjunctions, trines, and sextiles, in general I think this planets adds strength to the house its in, for physical strength probably 1st, 2nd, 8th or its natural house IP: Logged |

Saturn in the 3rd can bring a difficulty with communication, concentration and mental discipline. But Saturn is one of the classic rulers of Aquarius it can be difficult to find the balance between the conventional, controlled Saturn with the very unconventional innovative Aquarius sign but once you learn the lesson the Saturn is trying to teach you can do great things with this placement. I think strength of character would be attributed to a loaded 1H, a well aspected sun, (mars,pluto,uranus,jupiter)/sun conjunctions or flowing aspects. both ASC and moon in an easy aspect with the sun. opposition and square are no no no! I wouldn't say Saturn, saturn = frustration to me. Jupiter touching the sun or ASC creates an almost unshakable ... invincible character. Chart ruler in one of the fire houses ... A dominant fire element, fixed/cardinal modality.

I am a pisces sun as well,have 4 planets in pisces but saturn conjuncts all of them which grounds me little bit but still I am a pisces,I can still manage to escape saturn and get lost in fantasy world.You are a scorpio ascendant,maybe seeking more personal strength is a means of fulfilling power hunger of scorpio(I am also a scorpio ascendant). Good thoughts! My Scorp asc is the missing leg in my 3 very fixed tsquares... I just need to discover how to find and define my boundaries...with men and my daughter...etc... Is there hope?  I would so much prefer peace over power.. IP: Logged |

Read that internal peace is also a power.Sometimes knowing that I am a scorpio ascendant has helped me get through lot of sh*t,I become so suicidal at times,cant face the reality,then I remember that I am a scorpio ascendant and I tell myself“you’re a scorpio ascendant,you can deal with this(thats what you read)”,those hyped up descriptions help a lot sometime.In my own experience most pisces suffer because they are too kind,if you are too kind try to limit it. Emotional strength - harmonious Moon-Saturn, specifically the trine. Can sometimes make one emotionally closed-off and unable to spontaneously express love/affection. But the major plus side is that these people are usually an emotional rock. If annoying things happen, upsetting things, they rarely emotionally explode or lose control, go off the handle. Very strong hearts. I've had a BF with this placement and in 3 months I'd never seen him grow angry, or scream about anything, once. Some could argue it's a stifling aspect so it's not really strength. True, you could say that. But I feel that Saturn isn't just suppression it's also maturity and stability so the positive of this aspect is one who won't lose their cool and have emotional breakdowns like some erratic Moon-Uranus people do (I'm one of them). I find this an admirable quality. Physical-spiritual is SO Mars-Pluto, especially the conjunction and trine. These people will somehow bounce back from the most terrible, gut wrenching and difficult life events. Even through alcohol, drugs and suicidal feelings these people usually possess an innate desire to live and fight through even if they die trying. You will keep going and keep going and never stop trying to get what you feel you desire. Especially in sex and love.

Also,look at H4 and planets there - Sun,Pluto,Saturn.Sun/Moon in aspect. Physically - fire or earth rising,Mars rising,Sun/Mars,Mars/Pluto,Mars/Saturn;

You always seem like steel to me, hippichick.I think of Pisces as the strongest sign. It seems to me that everyone leans on Pisces people, everyone has their number handy for when the sh*t hits the fan and they need a savior to come babysit, fix the car, be there for a shoulder to cry on. So Pisces may feel "weak" under all that pressure/weight...but really, who else is strong enough to carry everyone? People also tend to take Pisces for granted, because they aren't the type to advertise the fact that if it weren't for them, you'd be falling down in the dirt. I think that warps their self-image sometimes. Like, "If I'm so strong, why aren't I getting more respect?" It's the rest of the world's problem, methinks.
