so, im attracted to two guys. and i dont know what's going on...maybe transits? because i find that they both have similar-ish placements. my chart is posted first, then guy 1 and guy 2 (no rising) i dont know guy 2's rising sign but, he is handsome (in the cute way), very gentle, skinny, not too tall and has an angular face, boyish, you just want to hug him, but, that may be his mars in cancer. he reminds me of tobey maguire, who is leo rising. but, who knows... my chart: guy 1 guy 2 IP: Logged |

ps...i favor number 1 because he has less libra. on the other hand, number 2 has moon in cap. prolly, more compatible with my moon. although, ive heard this placement is very hard. give me the one who will be more passionate and loyal! (duh) IP: Logged |

I wonder if 2 has sag rising at about 22*, that would place his moon in first, mars on 8th cusp, jupiter in the angular 7th, and pluto prominent and conjunct the MC (depending on the house system). His venus quincunx chiron is important, probably because venus is ruling everything as chart ruler and its also venus's closest aspect. I think 1 has the greater connection with you as I can feel inroads into you from his personality, however, I think 2 is likely to be more faithful and this is because he has an ingrained thinking/behaviour instilled by his mother - she has left a no where for deviance effect on him that makes him feel that he has to maintain a standard of respectful allegiance to the woman he's involved with. Having said that, he will only choose a woman his mother would approve of and he has a default setting on this. He has such a clear cut awareness of this type that he will hone in directly to her almost like a sonar device - he is for the long haul with who ever he chooses, but alas the woman is a minx, and will play much coquettish games with him with her feminine wiles. He will cope with it despite some angst, and eventually things will settle for him and her. IP: Logged |

thanks guys...ill see if if i can find his rising. i have a picture of him. but, i always find that 'guess his rising sign' can be quite a challenge! if anyone wants to see his picture, let me know and i'll post it! he has a butt chin! anywho... Chryseis
thanks for the sag rising. he has a butt chin! he does have an elongated face but, i've always had this notion that sag risings are tall and have broad shoulders. thanks for the explanation..i honestly dont care about 'mom's approval' to be honest. sounds like status quo and given his background...i think that this is a disadvantage for me. peachbeigeblue ive already been with trine moon people and i must say this....boring! yes, there is that emotional understanding but when it comes to that passion i crave, there is naught. i need someone who can express himself, be a tad bit more emotional, alive, crazy... capricorn seems very uptight, in my opinion. Nice to meet you chocogold, I think we have the same bday with the 1st person, it looks like you guys would have better stability with his Saturn trining your Jupiter and conjuncting your Venus-Pluto, along with your Saturn opposing his North Node. your Uranus opposes his Sun-Venus which means he will be attracted to your quirkyness, and he finds you unique. with the 2nd person, his Sun-Mercury trines your Mars which can be stimulating both physically and mentally. another thing is that his Jupiter trines your Venus-Pluto conjunction, you can easily expand/express your sexuality with him. not to mention venus-jupiter aspects are very positive, even with hard aspects. There could be some stability between you with your Juno sextiling his Sun exact, depending if Juno is really a marriage/commitment asteroid or one that deals with sexual affairs.. this i'm still not sure of. Overall, I think person 1 would be the better choice just my opinion. IP: Logged |

Could well be taurus or virgo rising,I'm wondering though if he was Sag rising at say 22*, then Neptune would be strong and therefore may confuse/dissolve/refine the qualities of the ascendant. Venus is chart ruler, I think which ever rising, and therefore is very prominent. This is where the cleft/butt chin would originate from most likely. Sun/Merc in Libra, ruled by Venus dignified in Libra - if it sextiled the AC would contribute youthful good looks and maybe give a similar feel of what a Taurus (Venus ruled) or a Virgo (Merc ruled) would give. And with respect to this possible sag AC, ruler Jupiter in Cancer in 7th opposing Moon in 1st would influence appearance too and maybe make his muscles not well defined. Does he have a kind of flat moon like/roundish face, and are his lips full or fleshy looking.

chryseis here is the pic: beachbeigeblue thanks ive played with the ascendant sign and done composites. with guy 1, i have sun conjunct venus conjunct mercury... with guy number 2, there is sun conjunct mercury. ive had enough sun conjunct mercury with folks, that i have to say, it is nice but...it is too intellectual, not enough for romance and passion. guy number 1 placements composite sun virgo moon leo mercury leo venus leo mars cap jupiter aqua saturn scorpio guy 2 placements composite sun scorpio moon pisces mercury scorpio venus libra mars taurus jupiter libra saturn libra yes, the house placements are important but, with guy 2, there is a lot of water and venus-oriented planets, seems cozy.

to find out how 2 persons match up, you should do a synastry chart, not composite. composite is like making 2 persons into 1... that's absolutely NOT helpful as you and these guys aren't 1 entity!IP: Logged |

I'm going to guess you're nearly 26, the Gemini is 28, and the Libra was born in '77 so 35?Just from looking at their planetary placements, I would say that the Gemini sun would be less understanding of you than the Libra sun. Gemini has Gemini Venus. Heh. I have that and I can be totally ruthless with others if I don't deem them worthy of my time and often that's determined by intelligence. You have Scorpio Mercury Rx, and I'm not bashing you or saying you're stupid, but water Mercury retrograde people get their wires crossed easily and Gemini is the probably the MOST impatient air sign. The Gemini needs someone who's going to be a good pal and super talkative because that indicates smarts. Gemini Venus takes a very long time to be romantically interested in anyone and they rarely make any moves at all. It's usually the other person making moves on a Gemini Venus as that placement tends to take the platonic outlook by default. You have Scorpio Venus which tends to be uncomfortable/super self-conscious about a lot of things and hold onto stuff longer than it needs to be, so that's going to be a source of discomfort for the Gemini (or any Gemini to be exact) because we're not so serious. Also, he has Scorpio Mars which opposes your moon... bad sign as that indicates he's not going to care about hurting your feelings. Libra has Cancer Mars and is sextile to your moon so he'd care about how you feel. He also has dignity Libra Venus which is far better than Gemini Venus (and I'm a Gemini Venus, I should know!) as far as being romantic and forgiving and compromising in partnerships. If you're into getting romanced, Libra Venus is your best bet. Also, he has Cancer Jupiter which is exalted. Those people attract money quite easily and usually pretty generous with others. The Capricorn Moon is a downer, but oh well. The other stuff is far better of a fit for you and how he'd treat you than the Gemini. Overall, I would go with the Libra. I don't know why Scorpio women go for Gemini men (like Katy Perry and Russell Brand) cuz that always ends in disaster. Scorpio-Gemini pairings can work if it's Scorpio male with Gemini female (Matthew McConaughey with Camilla and Keith Urban with Nicole Kidman) but not the other way around as the Gemini somehow manages to run away. It's better the female run away from the male than the male run away from the female. Scorpio tends to want to retrieve others and it's better the male retrieves the female than the female retrieving a male. IP: Logged |

a_may_geminihi, thanks a lot for the insight. ill see if i can get the birthtime for #2, and see what happens. i think i need birthtime for synastry charts in astro.com. he reminds me of dustin hoffman..so capricorn rising? just to let you know, it is not as if im going after geminis...in general i abhor air signs. but, ive realized that being with water and earth is not perfect either, usually, people get together because of security but i want fun, play, etc! and, for some reason, i seem to be attracting air signs. although im a scorp merc and scorp venus, im also very much an intellectual. very wordly and i talk a lot!!!! i need someone who is wordly, passionate and who adores intellectual stimulation. with some emotional stuff too. anywho, ive found libras to be very superficial, which makes me hesitate about #2. and another thing that makes me hesitant about #2. he has a lot of squares in his chart. the folks who ive met who have squares and opposites (esp. men), tend to be very difficult and trigger not so good things in me, imo. prolly, because i also have lots of squares and opposites. all of that libra square cancer opposite cap...makes me hesitant. sounds like a complicated person, imo. also, too much cardinal, which can mean someone who is always trying to achieve and achieve, and prolly lives in his head more than anything else.
