Simple question ...if you are someone who cant always see how your venus sign fits into your personality... think back to when when you were a child, try and remember what you wished your furture partner would be like...did they match the qualities of your venus sign?

I was out with my brother and cousins today and something occured to me, my cousins wife was asking me what kind of man i liked and i was like i really dunno...(just cuase i was too lazy to answer) and all of a sudden my brother said didnt you want your future husband to be a chef when you were little?....and i smiled as i remebered that. Then it occured to me that the kind of men i always liked as a child were the ones that were simple and kind. chefs somehow gave me that feeling, like they were creative and loving and not twisted in anyway. simple and sweet and down to earth. and then i hit me that i may not indentify with my Venus in Taurus in a partner now as much but when i was younger it was def evident...

can anyone else relate your Venus sign to your childhood and what you liked?

i mean technically, Venus is a feminine energy and so should'n it be evident in your childhood somehow? When you are being nurtured.

i had a huge crush on my tennis teacher. she became a newscaster after that so i had good taste!

no idea about my 1st crush in kindergarten but i remember her being a petite doll like thing that never talked. in the meantime i was being chased by i giant redhead so i had no time to do the taurus shimmy.

crush when i was 13 another doll like thang. big eyes, porcelain skin. she's an aries.

women didn't hold the same mystique after that age..

Despite what is said about Venus in Gemini, I think I have always idealized the concept of love and the only counterparts that matched up to those expectations were fictional characters. And I am not talking about someone that follows you around like a sick puppy dog because they were infatuated with you, I already had that everyday, this little boy named Jonathan would walk me back and forth from school everyday despite me trying to escape him everyday. My mom thought it was cute I despised the idea very early in life that's not something I wanted romantically.

I intensely obsessed over the same boy for years in elementary school, made advances on him, even did a love voodoo kit on him (I got it at a book store... so cool. LOL). I didn't have cutesy crushes, just obsessions but not weird life-consuming ones... but I never wandered from someone once they caught my eye.

Venus in Scorpio, H11.

Venus in Leo in the 8th

Hmmm. In kindergarten my crushes tended to be on popular kids, the ones everybody else seemed to like.
I was always really forward about it too, even though I practically got rejected each time hahaha.
In high school I chased the dark, swarthy types so I guess in that way I was falling in with my 8th house.
Now Idgaf... appearance and status matter so little to me and I would not waste my time following a dude around or even chase him. Much less if he is popular or appealing to everyone. Though if he has a sketchpad out or the Umbrella logo on his T-shirt I might strike up a conversation.
