in order to start reading a natal chart you need to learn the meaning of planets in signs and houses

after that you need to study aspects and their effect according to their sign and house

that would be a good start

there a lot of sources across the web to learn this... and we have the "astrology for beginners" and "brown owl school" that are filled with usefull articles

reading a natal chart fully is a long process that requires long analysis of a chart and some learn astrology for years to understand all the little details

there's tone of misguiding information on the internet - a lot of inaccurate interpretations and ancient astrology mixed with the new - or western with vedic and other types which can be confusing... but if you spend enough time with it - you can get to the core of astrology - the part where what you learned makes sense... i've learn enough a lot in less than 6 months - yet i'm not that good as example, cause sometimes i spend even 15 hours in front of a computer - learning... learning... and trying to apply what i learned in practice... and i still can't grasp any content as much as i'd want to.
