Does anybody know her bday or better yet her chart?

She seems to be very secretive about this.

While I adore her and there is alot of Fire in her, I really cant respect her fully since she "hides" her birthday.

Maybe she is hiding something?

I don't know who that is but i know an astrologer who does that. Don't know the reason for it but i respect it... Does that mean that you're obligated to show them yours or to share things with them that they won't share with you? Certainly not.

Her birthdate can be used to generate her birthchart which can reveal so many things about her, maybe thats why she hides her birthdate.

No, but since she has a "reality show" in which she portrays herself as a medium, well The Long Island Medium, I would think one would not want to hide anything~

AND birthdays are a matter of public record, anywhere, I am just in Texas and not Long Island..

It is more for fun than anything.

Like I say, we admire her alot, (cept for the silly Priceline commercial she did exploiting herself as a medium) and it is a past time for me and my daughter to try to guess suns and ascendants.

Sorry you took this too seriously, and defensive.

The original question was not WHY but does anybody know~

Some of the stuff she says throws me off.

Once she said something like, "As a Catholic, I believe spirits live on."

WTF? If you talk to them all the time, why reference your faith as the source of your belief?

I like her, but I do wonder. James van Pragh was exposed as a fraud.

Faith, this is why I think if she were creditable she would bear all of herself.

well to a certain extent

And like I said, we have fun guessing celebs suns then googling them..but when we could not find her, lead me to believe something fishy~

Maybe she has south node in pisces and can be a little paranoid.. Me, for example, i don't post my chart on LL but i've posted it several times on my facebook.. Reason being that i know maybe some people are not as familiar with astro as they would like to be yet so they could easily get the wrong idea if they don't know what they're doing.

You don't give a 16 year old a car if they've never driven before if u want em to go out and get a job...

Just like you don't just hand every single bit of information out to the general public because the audience is all different.

Have you tried contacting her and asking? You'd be surprised to find that some people don't at all mind it.

If she's psychic, i would imagine it's to keep people off her "airwaves".

Maybe ami can comment from her point of view.. She does this so she may be familiar with wanting some kind of privacy for whatever reason depending on the person.

I figured this out a couple weeks ago lol. I knew it was sometime in May or June because of her show and went through her daughter's twitter to see if she posted anything and she did. I know, that's weird haha.

It's June 10, 1971.

Although, I am not 100% certain it was 1971. When I google how old she is, it says 41. Don't know if that's accurate or not.

Personally, I tend to not believe in psychics, but it has nothing to do with whether or not they'll reveal personal information.

For me, some of them are just really good at what's called "cold reading" (if you watch "Psych", similar the stuff that Shawn does--being able to pick up on lots of little clues that normal people don't notice and being hyper-observant). Others, they've been shown to either get help/have prior knowledge, have astronomical fees for their services, or have been shown to not get a lot of things right.

I tend to have more faith in people who work for the police and who keep a low profile as opposed to the big-name people who have TV shows or booths or who are very highly visible.

Regards, I have thought about this as well...

But I dunno~

As long as they are helping and not hindering, not taking advantage of, not exploiting (there goes that word again ) the folks, I dont see the harm.

I have considered them akin to televangelists...

Personally, I tend to just think of them like that too--like "televangelists" (most of whom are probably scammers, and I say that as a liberal Christian).

It's the ones who lie to and take advantage of vulnerable, suffering people and make money off of them that are annoying.

Actually, the original "Twilight Zone" episode "Mr. Garrity and the Graves" has an interesting take on this subject. Garrity is a scam artist who claims to be able to raise the dead.

This is part of the reason why. Anyone into astrology doesn't usually like their dob info of there because there are so many people who will look at charts and say awful things about them and back it up with 'astrology.' and so many of the people who do that aren't skilled in astrology either, so it's problematic.

Linda Goodman kept her info very hush hush. She even threw out red herrings. Some people are just very private about their charts.
