It's been difficult to gather data about longevity of a relationship when you have young strong bonds of less than 5 years even. I think as a gold standard, I'm going to gather data on those that have already reached a significant milestone of 20 years. So if anyone would like to help me out here in gathering data as to what common aspects occur in those dreamy, long-term marriage, I'd love a hand. I'll post the findings on her thread as well. So your post would include the following: 1. Composite 2. Number of years in total together 3. Number of years married 4. +/- infidelity, if there was ever an episode. Emotional infidelity counts. 5. +/- separation, if they separated while married. 6. +/- divorce, if they divorced after 20 years together. For example, I'm at 19 years and 5 months without issues. My parents were at over 47 years till death separated, but with 13 known episodes of "goomahs." Yes, she was cheated on 13+ times and stayed married. So, should I focus on my parents or myself? Otherwise, this would be a pretty short thread because I wonder how many LL members have marriages over 20 years, without resorting to posting their parents' charts. IP: Logged

Maybe 20 years is too much, but didn't you suggest 25 years in the last thread? haha Ok let's make it 15 years instead of 20. And I think your chart is awesome. QUINKUNX if you count it - - NO moon saturn aspects. check - mercury jupiter aspect wide square (6 degrees) -mercury uranus aspect no - mercury ASc aspect TRINE - mercury with no harsh aspects to MC check - venus jupiter aspect in ALL charts not really. 8 degree is a bit wide orb. -venus neptune aspect no well there is a wide SEMISQUARE, don�t know how important that is -venus pluto aspect no -venus aspecting true node no -venus aspecting Asc no - NO harsh aspects to venus and MC do you mean between venus and MC? then no -No harsh aspect with mars jupiter check -No harsh aspects between mars and saturn they have the conjunction, and DW conjunction in synastry. -No harsh aspects in ANY chart there are some - No harsh aspects between mars and neptune check - No harsh aspects between mars and pluto check - No aspect to mars and true node check - No harsh aspects with jupiter and neptune in ANY chart. check - No harsh aspect with jupiter and true node check IP: Logged

But they had an arranged marriage and early on fought a lot! I mean a lot. Now, they're like identical twins and work very smoothly. I guess, the initial clashes could have been lack of experience in relationships, the mixing of two very different people, who did not fall in love, or maybe there is some progressive changes in the chart. I honestly haven't looked into their charts. Another thing that throws things off is marriage is really important to the culture and divorce was looked down upon. You wouldn't get as many people knocking on your door if you had a divorce. But my parent's are both for stability. My mom the typical virgo really tries to be there for everyone. My dad has asked my mom during heated arguments, "Do you doubt that I wouldn't give my life for you guys?!?" And he also hates going out without us. hehe So....jeez things have changed a lot from what they were. I think if you sign up you can keep a list of people. Then print screen and copy paste it to paint. Edit what you don't want to appear out such as your birthdates, location whatever it is.
