Hm.. I've only known two people with Scorp Sun and Aqua Moon - my father and a girl in highschool. What can I say.. Yes, they do "seem" more detached but I'm not sure they really are, internally. I think they tend to have quite a cynical vision of life, probably because the combination of the Scorp intensity and Aqua ideals makes it hard for them to accept reality for what it is. Maybe they are disappointed because their ideals don't seem to be met, I'm not sure. They can be very cold though. And it's hard to see through them, they put that poker face on and it looks like they're virtually emotionless. Also, I think when they're hurt, they won't show any sign of vulnerability, only in rare cases. They have a hard shell and it can be difficult to get close to them. That's what I've noticed but keep in mind I only speak of two people with that combo, others may be different.

yes, doux reve, but my leo moon doesn't get it. aqua moons are too cool! lol! or too cold! no impulses, sometimes seems they're not human..,when they have to express feelings like any normal person:worry,anxiety,love,compassion,joy,anything..they're like Blaaah...nothing,robots!..and with a scorpio as sun sing, the ruler of emotions ..that's a paradox.IP: Logged |

A person who wrote some of the most beautiful love lyrics ever has a Scorpio sun, Aquarius Moon. His name is Neil Young. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Obfci1CIqq8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JTy-GCfmvw IP: Logged |

i dated one. he was the weirdest guy i knew. he was great though. he still would liek to get back together. he tries a few times a year since i was 18. he had taurus rising. but when we first started dating - it was kind of frustrated bc he was kinda aloof and unconventional. i grew to understand he did care and is caring. he just goes about things his own way.i know a girl from work with this combo. we actually butt heads a lot. after i found out her birthday and our chart is a big cross of sun square sun, dw moon opposite sun and moon sq moons - it made some sense. and now i feel like i can be more understand when she acts totally insane to me. One of my best friends is a Scorpio sun/pluto/venus stellium square her Aqua moon. She is loyal and dependable to a t. Also insanely honest; she can be a bit too matter-of-fact/blunt, but it is different than say a Sagittarius' bluntness. She knows what she's saying can hurt the person, but respects whoever enough to be honest with them regardless of consequences. She is 'real' and lives in reality, not some dream world where everything is pretty. She's into very deep stuff--psychology, art, aliens/ghosts/paranormal and can talk endlessly about all of these things. A lot of fun to talk to. She's not superficial and loves to party, not arrogant or pretentious. Just real. Now, her more negative qualities, like I said, she can be *piercing* when she wants you to pay attention to something she's saying. Usually it's for your own good, though. Also she has such a big circle of friends from time to time it's difficult to get her to hang out! But she never is flaky. And lastly, she can be emotionally cold, although she can talk endlessly about emotions and inner thoughts when she *separates* herself from them first. Distances herself. So, yeah, a little emotionally distant. I know that's a farce, with all that Scorpio. So yeah, she appears more rational than a typical Scorpio, and she is quite rational a lot of the time. But she can get very emotionally invested in debates and certain types of conversation. When it means *a lot* to her. For example, one day we were all partying together and all the sudden she snapped and started ridiculing all of us and begging us to quit smoking (in our group of friends, a good majority of people are smokers). She had been seemingly ambivalent for years; then all the sudden she went on an emotional tirade about how she didn't want to outlive all of us, and to shutup when we told her to stop, we could talk about it when we weren't having a party. For about 30 min she went on and on and on. This is really a once in a blue moon type thing. most of the time she keeps it together very well. She doesn't condescend emotional people, though. I think cos she's really emotional deep down, she gets us. IP: Logged |

Man, yeah, Scorpio + Aquarius sounds...crazy. Like Arctic water! Not stiff and rigid like ice, but still freezingly chilly. Maybe ruthless too, cruel at worst. Distance is a key word for this combination. IP: Logged |

No sun-moon combo is rare as the moon's position changes every day to 1.5 days.LOL my Dad is Scorpio Aqua combo and I'll admit, growing up with him, he was and still is off the wall. I mean, Scorpios tend to be a traditional, which my Dad is, but Aqua moon makes a person unconventional and probably a bit psycho and paranoid, which also fits the bill for my Dad. These days, he's older and not so sharply on guard like it was when I was a little kid. But trust me, he didn't start to slightly relax until his early 50s and he's just barely in his late 50s. I don't think this is a good combo but it's NOT rare. I will admit, because my Dad's moon trines my sun and my sun trines my Dad's moon, he does get me... without even hearing a word from me. For the most part, I get him too, as strange as that sounds. We don't even have to be in direct communication to understand each other. Usually my Dad will sense something with me and he will contact me via text message, which I like. Aside from my Dad, I've only met another Scorpio-Aqua combo and he was completely psychologically deranged. He always threw emotional sh*t fits and objectified everything. It was impossible for him to see things outside of his own paranoid delusions. IP: Logged |

I know one Scorpio Sun/Aquarius Moon combination myself, a child of my uncle’s partner from when he was with his divorced wife. With Ascendant and Jupiter in Pisces, Mars in Aquarius, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio, and all ten planets above the horizon, this is an interesting chart. The Moon and Mars in Aquarius would certainly cool the intense emotions of Scorpio - to the point of lacking warmth - but would not diminish the loyalty and stubbornness. One senses an absence of intuition and idealism, but with all those fixed signs and Pisces rising there is the danger of laziness. He has recently settled down and married, and should be a devoted and helpful husband and father. My grandmother, deceased for eighteen years, may have an Aquarius Moon but I have no birth time. (It’s odd how many cases I have found where choosing between Aquarius and Pisces is difficult in the absence of a birth time or potential small inaccuracies). IP: Logged |
