I'm a cancer sun but my moods are pretty stable. I'm always generally happy, even when complaining. I can be happy whether I'm at home or at a party, with people or alone. But on the downside, I don't generally seek out company or try to make friends (too much work), i let them come to me, and am also very quick to give up on anything that isn't satisfying. I think it's a result of my feeling at home with any situation that I give up so easily on things. I think it also makes me willing to do and say impulsive things, because even if other people get bothered by it, my mood is so easygoing and blase that if they are, I just don't care.I think it's a good thing with many bad sides. I read that leo moons don't like to analyze their own faults and may live in denial. I think that's the reason behind my always being content with everything. If I don't have to analyze, I don't have to accept any other reasoning than I'm perfect the way I am and everyone should love me for me. I enjoy my always being happy, I just wish that it wouldn't lead me to be lazy and careless. Is that typical of leo moons? ps. I also read that leo moons have many friends but keep them all safely at a distance. I am very friendly with lots of people, and we'll hang out from time to time, but I generally keep everyone at a safe distance. I am comfy with it. Are other leo moons like that, too? I have found that to be true with leo suns. ------------------

I'd say Leo Moons are pretty stable! Emotions burn brighter and larger. No matter what you feed it, happy wood, jealous wood, sad wood...it all produces warm fire!  I haven't quite heard of the safe distance thing before...it seems to apply, oddly enough,  IP: Logged |

I dated a Leo Moon before, he was moody and illogical, though I don't think that's a Leo Moon trait. He certainly was subjective, not objective (or selfish) as in he could only see things from his perspective.IP: Logged |

For the most part my mood is pretty stable...but catch me on the wrong day, and my mood can change at the drop of a dime...
It usually won't last long.....I can get over It quickly.IP: Logged |

One of my favourite ex bfs is a Scorp Sun with a Leo Moon. He was the eternal optimist and had the uncanny ability to glide effortlessly between constantly smiling and doing the intense Scorpio gazes. We both used to joke that he was a drama queen but I think the way his big feelings came out was a function of his intense Sun. In any case, he could go back and forth with his feelings for sure, but there was an underlying stability to all of it, if that makes sense. And he had a big generous heart  I don't think he kept people at arms length though, not really. Maybe that could be your Cancer Sun? I'm a Cancer and I do that until I'm really sure about someone.
