I have Mars in the 8th house, too but it's not my favorite house...although I do indulge in it a little too much.

My favorite house is really the 1st house because none of the others houses are really possible without the 1st, hence being 1st. I have Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in the 1st house.

I'd have to say 1, because it holds Uranus and Pluto. But I also like 10 for the reasons YTA gave, and it holds Jupiter. And 5, because mine is packed, and it has my Sun.
