Okay, typically speaking, Libras are charming, boy-next-door types, and very flirtatious. Sag's are independent and freedom-loving. Both signs seem pretty opposed to all the brooding, jealous intensity of Scorpio. So how would having Venus in Scorpio modify these traits? I only know one guy with this placement, but not nearly well enough to make any assumptions. If you know any, how did this placement play out? I know there are other factors in the chart, but I would like to know your experiences IP: Logged |

I am a Sag Sun with Venus in Scorpio. And I am the"brooding" type.I think this has mostly to do with being unable to realte to someone on a deep philosophical level. I can seem to shut down socially. Having a Venus in water makes theses people shut down socially or be especially senstive to being cut out of a conversation or socialy outcasted--Astrology for Dummies This couldn't be more true of me. I find that my sensitivity is heightened in social relationships and so I realy do tend to be more withdrwan when uncomfortable. I think this is also in romantic relationhips; where i really do feel very vulnerable to the partner. A sensitive partner is really best for me. I have Venus, Saturn, Pluto in Scorpio in 7th. On the flip side, if these areas are ideal, my Sag Sun comes out completely. IP: Logged |

What ASCTaurus bolded was true in my experience. The Sag guy also had a Libra moon! I got mad at him (I have Venus in Aries) and he was afraid to even properly say goodbye to me. Later on I was cleaning up Facebook and removed him, and he got offended over that too. Keep in mind this wasn't someone I had known for very long, maybe a few days. I like Sag/Scorpio types but I think it's when they have water Mercuries and no earth to ground it that wires get crossed. IP: Logged |

It certainly would be very difficult. If you combine the brooding intensity of Mercury and Venus in Scorpio with the rudeness so common in Sagittarius you can get someone completely lacking in social graces. It is not so much earth that is needed to counter it, but planets in the extremely socially conscious cardinal signs of Libra and/or Capricorn, who are always concerned to “do the right thing”.One of my half-sisters is a Sagittarius with Moon in Scorpio and Leo rising, and the way she speaks is something I have always recognised since my childhood and it is not easy to be comfortable with. Rather, it always seems too forceful and blunt, even though with experience it can be very interesting to talk to her since she is so knowledgeable. With Venus in Aquarius and Mars in Virgo, you have a woman who lacks even the normal fiery passion of Sagittarius, which to me explains why she never formed a partnership with any man. IP: Logged |

My ex-boyfriend is Libra sun/Scorpio venus/Sag moon.Yes he was fun-loving and independent but he was also very loyal and devoted to me. He did everything for me..EVERYTHING. He liked to have deep conversations, too. We shared the same Venus sign, and same Moon sign. He jumped into the relationship head first and took it very seriously. I, on the other hand, was less enthusiastic because well..my Sag moon must affect my need for freedom more than his did. He was definitely NOT as jealous or brooding as I am..not by a long shot. I'm a Cap sun/Scorp venus/Scorp rising so I have a lot of dark, more sinister energy going on. He was MUCH more light-hearted about our arguments and sometimes I would try to make him jealous, and I don't think it worked. If he did get jealous, he didn't show it. I broke up with him because of lack of passion and attraction. We were together for a year and a half, though. IP: Logged |
