Topic: Does Saturn make you feel guilty?

Im talking about in relationships either in synastry or composite. As an example if you want to leave, but cant because you get this overwhelming feeling of guilt... What is that? Whats the purpose of feeling guilty? IP: Logged |

I think the guilt comes with the sense of failure in giving up. You feel unnaturally bound to and responsible for where your Saturn falls/what major contacts it makes in the chart especially with difficult placements and hard aspects. Saturn is karmic. When we don't complete the duties, the very difficult and mature ones that cause us to grow ourselves, we feel incomplete and sometimes ashamed. We also feel we've failed ourselves and get sick over the messy loose ends. EXAMPLE: My Saturn falls in my SO's 7th and opposes his natal Venus. I have a very strong desire to restructure him and mature him in terms of commitments and serious relationships. Yet at times I get sick of the flakiness, the immaturity, the bad attitudes... but at the same time, I feel almost ill at the idea of backing out before I have seen the fruits of my labor with him. I've worked so hard already to make him grounded in Venusian/7th house areas, and quitting would seem like I've thrown it all away. IP: Logged |

I have too much Virgo (sun, mercury, mars) and too much Saturn in my chart...Saturn in Cancer in 7th and Rising Cap. My personality feels far from a Virgo or Cap in my mind (strong moon in Aquarius)...except for all of this Virgo and Saturn energy...it leaves me feeling guilty and self conscious way too much. Not a fan.As far as how it plays out with relationships...no guilt to stay with anyone ever. So no Saturn has never guilted me to stay. But I do feel bad if I do anything that has hurt a loved one. It hurts me to the bone...interesting!...Saturn/cap rules bones. Ha! IP: Logged |

Yes i think u have it....im stuck between logic and guilt..
I keep trying to end this.. Im not answering his phone calls, and im over ridden with guilt....
I know deep down walking away is for the best... But i keep thinking what if...... I feel bad for ignoring his calls....
He's not letting me leave easily... He keeps pulling me back in... I keep saying ok next week...then next.. And it never works.... How do i know what's best... IP: Logged |

In a comparison chart Saturn contacts would feel "secure" but also restricted.The aspects I look out for are
Saturn conjunct Mars (timing is off)
Saturn in hard aspect to Venus (you don't mesh)
Saturn conjunct Moon (feels more like a sibling) ------------------

Hi Lioness.I think a strong Neptune can also make one feel guilty. The thought of hurting another cannot be easily tolerated by empathic Neptune. Also if someone is being manipulative in making you feel guilty, then Pluto could be at the core. One of the ways Pluto manipulates is through guilt. So I would look to see what Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are doing. I think Jupiter and Uranus are probably guilt free  ------------------

No he's not doing anything... I haven't answered his phone calls... I just feel bad abt It...Considering the male prespective... He prob can't fiqure out what he's done..lol I'm holding my ground... I haven't spoken to him...
