Textbook Astrology is filled with pages of explanations of just your Sun sign, Moon sign or Ascendant. However, natal charts work as a combination of personality factors, and in this collection of five examples, we will see how best we can integrate the meanings of Sun, Moon and Ascendant when understood with the house positions of the Sun and Moon.

1. Aries Ascendant with Sun in Leo (5th House) and Moon in Libra (6th House)
The basic impulse of an Aries Ascendant male is WINNING. Go getters. The ones who try to come first in every endeavor.
Aries rising invented entrepreneurship. Aries rising are lovable, innocent, bluntly honest, energetic, magnetic and goal centric. They can be selfish without hurting others but very generous after achievement. Luck comes to them when they seem down and out.
With Sun in Leo, there is magnetic personality, a desire to be noted, to become a center of attention, to attract through sheer personal will [and gregarious speech]. 2. Leo Rising with Sun in Pisces (8th House) and Moon in Libra (3rd House)
A warm and generous exterior with a bright personality and loving nature but with a mind devoted to the higher dimensions of Spirituality.
As a Leo rising, you will find it easy to ooze personal magnetism and become the center of attention. You will manage to take good care of your own needs without being a burden on others. The Ego is also very strong, and sometimes you will appear to be proud to others.
