Topic: Do you get obsessed with people who have planets in your 8th house?

Is this typical of the 8th house ?
I know house rulerships and aspects have to be taken into account .For example when my sun is in someones 8th house , i feel abit creeped out by them . and when someone has their sun in my 8th house i am in love with them . i can't stop thinking of them . Im in complete lust. i want to know everything about them . I can't stop staring . Does this sound 8th housey?? Also the 5th house , when someones planets fall in my 5th house i love them for no particular reason . Everything they do and say is funny and im naturally affectionate with them . Any thought? Rings true for the 8th house. Not 5th. I don't like Capricorns at all. Ok, my generation's Saturns are in my 5th, but then again, it's not a personal planet at all.
My Love's Moon is in my 8th. He's the one i crave for although now i'm seeing another guy, whose personal planets are in my 12th... i like him, a lot LOT, but i still crave for my Love. And i think i always will.

ALL my planets fall in a friend's 8th house, in Scorpio, and conjunct her Pluto. Her feelings for me are a bit obsessive and intense. I have to admit it worries me at times and I've questioned if she has sexual/romantic feelings for me but won't tell me... not easy to handle because some signs are there. 8'0 IP: Logged |

Yes. It's so bad. I have Capricorn ruling my 8th house, right? Scorpios natural house... then I have Pluto ruling my 5th house so light love affairs are super intense and short (Uranus also in my 7th... JEEZE.) Anyway my point is most if not all the Capricorns or Scorpios I meet have Capricorn and/or Scorpio in them as well so it's like a double whammy and I get addicted.IP: Logged |

I relate more to the placement of the houseruler than the sign in the house itself.
Especially true for the 8th house.
my 8th house is in Cancer or Cancer is in my 8th house, but this must be the one sign I really do not relate all that well too.
however SAturn is in there and I feel very impacted by Capricorns.
The ruler of the 8th house is in Aquarius - and I think this might be the reason Cancers don`t really affect me that way, at least not in the positive sense.Cancer is in a quinkunx sign-relationship with Aquarius. I think I prefer the Uranian or fiery or even SAturnian energy, because my personal planets rather resonate with these than with Cancer energy itself. (Sun, Mars, ASC in Sag, Moon in Aqua, Venus in Capricorn). This might be the reason that I rarely am attracted to Taurus people, (my 5th house sign), unless their planets trines my Venus. Same with Geminis, sign of my 7th house - they do not hold that much appeal to me, but then my 7th house ruler is in Sagittarius, and I more resonate with these kinds of energies on the not so personal half of the zodiac. (only exception is Aries).

Hmmm.....the last 2 guys I dated had their venus fall in my 8th house and I was a lil sexually obsessed with them lol and I've never had much of a sex drive (venus in virgo) I thought it was pretty cool haha. I have 8th house scorpio. I've since then learned that if anyone I date in the future has venus in scorpio, maybe I should run the other way lol not sure if I like it or not now. IP: Logged |

Yes, Im so attracted to pisces men. My house 8 in pisces and also my saturn. My longest relationship are togheter with my daughters father who had his Venus in conj to my saturn. He is still my biggest love. His sun and his moon was also in my house 8. IP: Logged |

My 8th house is Aries. Aries is Sextile my Gemini Sun so you'd think I get along great with Aries but for some reason it doesn't happen. One of my best friends has Aries placements and it shows. I dunno, I guess its my Libra moon that just can't stomach Aries impatience.------------------

Yes, sometimes yes and sometimes no.My 8th is Scorpio, my best friend got her sun and venus in my 8th. My moon/merury/jupiter in her 8th. I have complex emotions toward her(not in love). Some obsessive, luring, jealousy...But I share my things generously with her too. We share our secrets with each other which seldom share with others. One man got his sun/moon/mercury/neptune in my 8th, I got my sun/venus/(Chiron,south node,asc) in his 8th. HE is always on my mind! Emotions of crazy obsessive, sexual luring, jealousy, and creepy feelings( creepy yet safe both), generously sharing too. I find myself feel really hard to let go---It's a challenge of fighting with my own lust. The sex is awesome. Both of them give me a feeling of a tree hole, a safe place to secretly take rest and get encouraged. However, there also some people with their sun or moon in my 8th. I don't feel the same. But our relationships still relate to 8th things, like: stuff belongings, hate, mystery, secrets, death, sex.....(one share her sexual experiences with me, weird!)

No, doesn't apply for me. I have 8H Pisces and have never obsessed over a Pisces except for a few celebrities. I'm a Pisces moon, feel sympatico with most Pisces...nothing to obsess over, it's a smooth, mutually-supportive kind of rapport. If I ever am single again, I'd like to date a Pisces, though.
