I've really felt this aspect lately. I don't care for anything practical, I simply want to stay home and do artistic things and get lost in the fog. I've tried writing and finding clarity for what I truly want to do- I'm only 21 and still haven't started university, even though I know I would love school and being stimulated (Gemini moon). Anyone else have this aspect? It frustrates the hell out of me. I'm determined one minute and then I ask myself... "but why? thats not what you really what you want is it..?" I'm a mess and incredibly indecisive. Just want things to be simple! We need a mars opposite neptune support group... we'd probably never settle on a meeting time or date because we're so indecisive.IP: Logged |

Yes, I have this aspect and it can be very, very trying. I feel it also contributes to my artistic sensitivity... but the moodiness that comes with it since my Mars is in Cancer, so I have to be in the right mood on TOP of having the Neptune opposition to be creative. Also in my case, I feel this aspect plays out as - do you want to achieve independence and Uranian creativity [Neptune-Uranus conjunction] to feel emotionally and financially stable, or do you want a family and emotional security? I feel like the two won't mesh for me. I either have one or the other. The artistic independence, or a family. But not both... my life path isn't compatible with a family and intimacy yet I wonder if I would like it, just like you wonder about yourself with school and your Gemini Moon. I agree that the Neptune opposition can make you wonder about the true meaning of what you do and if there's a point to it... how daydreams and wanderings can make you lose track and never get done. I have the square but my Mars is dignified. I haven't checked my progressions in a while but it goes away with time.. At least, in my case, it has. It's not always the aspect. I think that you've also gotta put in some work to get your mind out of the habit as well.I have Mars in Aries so the energy is TOTALLY different as it is fire. Mars in a Water can already be uneasy to then also be opposite neptune.... If you have any trines to it, i would suggest finding a way to play those up. IP: Logged |

My saving grace is a strong trine from Scorpio Pluto in the 12th I think. Both are outlets for the other to express their energies. I feel like the trine makes me much stronger, having a greater will to really go through with things and regenerate when push comes to shove. IP: Logged |

And how do you think this can change? Get out of our foggy heads and just take action? Action always clears the path a bit. Yet I find myself just asking "why?" It could be a phase. oh my gosh I just checked my progressed moon- pisces. this makes sense, so much. oh boy. What a mood swing I've experienced for the last two years. it's almost over! hurray! CLARITY, HERE I COME! I like to think us mars opposite neptunes' are simply big dreamers and attribute our spirituality to our drive which is slow and foggy but reaching for that something that unites us all forever. <3 IP: Logged |

Routine and discipline, like a soldier. Neptune will never see it coming. IP: Logged |

I agree - just going for it is one way I combat Neptune's insecurities and the fog it can set over me. Getting physical exercise and forcing myself into action can sometimes be the necessary thing. But the Cancer influence of my Mars can make me a real homebody/attached the my place of living and not wanting to go into the outside world... especially when I don't feel well. It's a real issue for me. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I have Gem Mars opp Sag Neptune, and my activity level is erratic, my sense of purpose is come and go.What I've tried to do is be at peace with it: while I might not be able to get into an effective daily routine and stick with it, I go through phases and DO get stuff done... by a more Neptunian kind of schedule. Imagine a warped-looking activity graph..it's like an art form in itself, if you think of it kindly. IP: Logged |
