One thing we constantly see the media portray us Pisces as so Dead-Drop Gorgeous specimen. From Elizabeth Taylor to Sailor Neptune from Sailor Moon, Piscean women are portrayed as witty and sophisticated in addition to their highly feminine beauty Pisces men are often portrayed as being equally dead-drop gorgeous. Gorgeous to the point of effeminate androgyny. They're also portrayed as romantics who women fall in love with based on mere looks alone. In addition they are also charmers, the biggest in the Zodiac along with Libra, Leo, and Scorpio.Typically Pisces men are portrayed as being quite slender (as in gorgeously proportioned arms that aren't muscular) and unathletic. Justin Bieber and Pisces Aphrodite from Saint Seiya are the epitome of the stereotypical Pisces man. Personal experiences is far from the truth. For one most Pisces women I know IRL are relatively plain looking.Witty and sophisticated? Not so much in my experience. Most Pisces women I know are plain. Some maybe intelligence in the sense of school grades but not classy. Looks department, the ones I met are not stunning. Plain looking. The only Pisces women I know who are dead-drop gorgeous are the famous ones like Elizabeth Tailor and fictional portrayals such as Sailor Neptune(as she is described in-universe of Sailor Moon as being the epitome of femininity). Pisces men-I won't deny I known some good-looking ones but the are not the norm and they wouldn't fit into the scales of "Dead Drop Gorgeous"-almost all I know are just plain looking at best. Charming? Some are, some aren't. Slender and well-proportioned? Meh. If you want to see a Pisces who's not int he realmn of "Attractive" look at Steve Jobs of Apple. Nor are they all romantics-most Pisces men I know are quite into the typical male fads such as Halo. Basically keep-up-with-the Joneses just like most boys. Effeminate and frail? Look at George Washington who was practically a muscular beast. Nice guys with heart of gold?Look at John Wayne Gacy, the infamous serial killer who raped at least 20+ men and hid their corpses in parts of his house and in the backyard. Oh just to add-I know a Gemini girl from HS and she has a Pisces Rising. While she's not dead-drop gorgeous in the standards of Elizabeth Taylor the Pisces sign is associated with, she's more matching the Piscean Beauty traits than any Pisces women I know@

Lol Elizabeth Taylor is often the one women they refer to most when they talk about Piscean beauty. As for Libras having the most beauty? Here's what I noticed. Older books on Astrology such as Linda Goodman's Sun Signs credit Libran women as being the most beautiful of them all.But recent pop Astrology (from what I read starting from 1990s and beyond including up to now), people think Pisces are the most dead-drop gorgeous of the Zodiac. Ask anyone who's read enough Astrology books to be familiar with the Sun Signs (but not beyond up to the two others of the basic 3s, the Moon and Ascendant), and they often repeat the same thing about Pisceans being the Beauties of the Zodiac. Popular Fiction repeats this OVERBOARD even with their simplistic (inaccurate) portrayal of the Zodiac. Just an example. http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_ylt=AuP.MV1mAF5EfH0JJBKjLZLP7BR.;_ylv=3?p=Pisces+most+gorgeous&submit-go=Search+Y%21+Answers As you can see, "Gorgeous" Pisces man is within the preview of near every question. http://answers.yahoo.com/search/search_result;_ylt=As53l6T9JHpZmQrA1RxJAJQjzKIX;_ylv=3?p=Pisces+most+beautiful&keywords_search=Search+Y%21+Answers Practically ask most people today who even at least follow Astrology enough to know about the Sun Sign traits, and they'll state Pisces people are the most gorgeous. Maybe Librans were considered the epitome of beauty back in Goodman's time, but it seems Pisces has that title in current Astrology.

XD I know some Pisces WHO ARE THE MOST LOYAL of the signs. Now I will be honest I fit as a "womanizer" stereotype (I'll be chasing skirts once I finally whip myself into shape and getting a Boxer's Build), but I credit that to my Scorpio Rising, not Pisces Sun. IP: Logged |

I think you're getting too caught up on stereotypes, Mr. Adonis. From your previous thread to this one, it's, and take this impersonally, rather petty (wasn't Saint Seiya an anime from the 80s?). Why focus on something as menial as devoting threads to opposing stereotypes when you can pursue knowledge and truth, and post threads for that? Think of it like this: you're preaching to the choir. Yes, I'm confident that the majority here realises the stereotypes in media, and yes, I'm confident that the majority here agrees with your views. So what's the point...? IP: Logged |

Of course don't forget the other placements matter. I doubt a Pisces witha Capricorn Rising will have a wondering eye! Oh whave you heard stereotypes of Libran Beauty?Off topic but look in the above post I made before I responded to yours. ^^.You're a Libran so I'm curious of your POV.It seems pre-90s(actually I'd go as early as pre-mid 80s) books give Libra-especially the women, credit as the most beautiful. Pisces seems to hold the title now according to most mainstream Sun Sign Books and light Astrology followers. quote: Originally posted by RedScorp: I think you're getting too caught up on stereotypes, Mr. Adonis. I'm actually going to create a "Celebrity" Analysis threads where we take up popular figures from History and analyze their charts and also be analyzing the Aspects and other such stuff. Yes I have such threads planned/ IP: Logged |

^^Yes your right other placements do play a part in ones natal as to their story of their personality and potential. As far as what I have read about beauty stereotypes, havent paid much attention, I prefer an abstract view on it. Beauty is mostly subjective imo.IP: Logged |

I don't go by the Pisces stereotype simply because Elizabeth Taylor was only her sun sign, she had a Sagittarius asc and a Scorpio moon with a highly aspected asc not even including asteroids.IP: Logged |

Trust me-go read stuff on sites like Suzzanne White and Zodiac-traits.com and go ask the average layman who only knows Astrology by Sun Signs (if he even follows it at all-people who don't care at all won't even know of the 12 basic signs). You'll always hear of how "Gorgeous" Pisces can be. quote: Originally posted by VenusDiSirius: I think Fire/Water combinations are particularly eye-cathing,and if Pisces present,it could lead to attractive appearance many are smitten by...
Heh I may be a living example soon enough in 6 months! Back in high school despite being very overweight, there were girls who had a crush on me JUST ON LOOKS ALONE to the point they were approaching me and ASKING ME TO BE THEIR BF! Furthermore while I still am fat(though I have LOST A Lot of weight and should have a Boxer's build by June next year), most girls I showed my pic to stated I'm good looking as it is and if I become skinny, I'll probably be such a HANDSOME (possibly GORGEOUS) Boy ! Oh my Fire-Water Combo is Pisces 26° Leo Moon 25° and Scorpio Rising 8°. quote: Originally posted by 11nahyt: The whole thing about Pisces feet being strange is VERY true in my experience. Do you mean strange as in weak feet?I may have a (not-so-severe) case of flat foot, but my feet is anything but weak-its been strengthened by all the running and exercising I've been doing. So that doesn't apply to me. quote: Originally posted by 11nahyt: O Even when they had girlfriends they would flirt with other females (usually in a gentle perverse way lol), they seemed to think there was nothing wrong about that. Apart from that, you would never see them getting out of character, they remind me of some libras. Except the Pisces were more laid back, and they seem to just go with the flow.
I'm the complete opposite. I'm incredibly aggressive(lets not go there) and very vindictive(to the point of seemingly insane). I rarely smile. Also while I have been easy going and lazy in the past I started becoming a very serious person.Must be the Scorpio Rising Transformation finally taking in effect. IP: Logged |

The things I would say causing this aggression: Leo Moon 25°(major one I think as the degree is associated with violence and criminal activities in Leo-I even made a thread on it which you can find if you scroll down below in Astrology 2.0). Scorpio Rising 8°. Aries in Mercury 11° Pluto in Scorpio 22° My Sun Quinxonces my Moon so I think that is also a major factor. Justin Bieber actualy does epitomize the adrogynous thing. lolInterestingly, though, he has Pluto conjunct Asc and so I doubt that he is all sweets and candy. Although, the added feature of the Libra moon may throw a lot of people off too. Do you know he has Moon-Neptune, Moon-Uranus in harsh aspect? We will get to experience a different kinds Bieber as the years come. Definately more erratic and less predictable in behaviour... Anyhwo, the adrogynous qualities you speak of that are allegedly known to be Piscean-borne, I have often found in men from the sign of Gemini, Virgo and Aquarius. Pisces are often more "teddy bear" looking than beastly. There are few that I have met(based on Sun sign alone) that are trim/have feminine features. In women, the adrogynous appearance is usualy with Taurus, Capricorn and Aries (in my experience). With Cap especially, the feminine qualities(if any) seem to develop much later in life. When young, the women I've known, are guy-looking. For femininity, I'd have to say that I have seen this mostly with Scorpio, Cancer, Virgo and Libra women. Not to say that the rest aren't feminine, it's just that these(based on Sun sign alone) seem to confirm the stereotype. Venus-moon aspects in Water for both men and women can enhance femininity. Men with Moon-venus water seem in touch with their feminine side (in my experience) and can have some strong Taurean-like traits. Women with this aspect tend to be ultra feminine and gentle. Their appeal maybe because they seem to come across as agreeable and soft. Whether or not they are physically beautiful, this aspect definately enhances their appeal. IP: Logged |

i think androgyny would be more of a masculine/feminine combo in the charts. or signs that tend to be/look feminine, mixed with signs that tend to be aggressive or masculine .like sun in aries/moon in libra, might make one look androgynous.i've noticed a handful of moon or mars in aries females (but especially moon), had some sort of androgynous look to them. especially when it was aqua sun females with moon in aries.or venus/uranus aspects sometimes. sun/mars aspects with the females too. moon square venus i've seen MANY times (with the females) were (i for one), or still are tomboys.venus in harsh aspect to mars might do that too(idk bout this one though). but usually with those aspects, it wasn't always that they looked like both genders in the FACE, but more like they dressed androgynous, or were tomboys.basically Behavioral androgyny.. many MANY (seriously)libra males i know/seen, are VERY androgynous/effeminate looking. they were what you'd call "pretty boys". even if they were ugly, they still LOOKED soft and feminine. they didn't LOOK masculine at alll.. its like a boyish/feminine look going on with them..but usually that was only with their faces.. example of a celebrity, Zac efron. I'm not sure about "drop dead gorgeous," but I've always turned heads, even when I was overweight. And never once have I been denied the affections of the person I was after.A description I read of Pisces females seems fitting to quote here. It's from a book inaccurately named "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" by Joanna Martine Woolfolk: "Pisces woman is a fascinating mixture of earthly passion and unworldly fantasies. It's no wonder that men are captivated by her at first glance and haunted by her forever after. they may try to recall what it is about her that's so enchanting, but they can't plumb the depths of her enticing allure. Her knack for getting around men is uncanny. She has an instinctive ability make men feel masculine....More than any other woman in the Zodiac, Pisces will change herself to fit the image that her partner wants. Hers is a mutable sign and she is completely adaptable. yet this woman of a thousand faces remains uniquely herself: elusive, untouchable, mysterious. She has a fascination that no one quite understands..." I can't think of a single Piscean female I've met that wasn't at least pretty, if not beautiful. Males on the other hand...'eh I could take 'em or leave 'em. Most of them are too feminine to me to be attractive. This isn't to say they aren't, they're just usually "pretty" instead of handsome. If I wanted to look at something PRETTY I'd look at a woman ------------------ Leo ASC, Pis Sun, Tau moon IP: Logged |

LionFish, There's another quote which this passage reminded me of; "The Pisces woman can be quite an enigma, the more you try to characterise her the more elusive she becomes" I memorised the quote but I cant remember who wrote it. ------------------ "The fish is the twelfth sign, a composite of all that's gone before, and his nature is a blend of all the other signs, which is quite a lot to cope with" Linda Goodman IP: Logged |

@Maelstrom quote: "The Pisces woman can be quite an enigma, the more you try to characterise her the more elusive she becomes"
I love it! This is so true for me. I feel like I am everything that I am or can be all at once, every minute of every day; good, bad or indifferent. But when somebody says I'm this or I'm that (no matter how much of this or that I may be ) I tend to withdraw from not only that person, but that part of myself as well. Because if I'm just that one thing, how can I be everything? And thanks to your signature, I think Linda Goodman may have answered the question to why Pisces is so becoming to all signs in some way: quote: "The fish is the twelfth sign, a composite of all that's gone before, and his nature is a blend of all the other signs, which is quite a lot to cope with" Linda Goodman
If we're a blend of every sign before us it would explain why every other sign can find something attractive (if only momentarily) in a Pisces. And would lead to stereotypes of beauty/charm one might think..------------------ Leo ASC, Pis Sun, Tau moon IP: Logged |

Hahaha even the good-looking Pisces boys I know IRL are anything but androgynous. Good-looking in the Movie Star sense (in the words of girls, beautiful eyes, nice hair, etc) but they are masculine enough to look distinctly male.
Justin Bieber-looking boys are quite rare from my experience. Most "Prettyboy" Pisces I know may not necessarily be athletic but neither are they well-proportioned and slender as a female. Basically same kind of body and features males have except remarkably (in the opinion of girls) pretty. Androgynous they are not. BTW you're a Pisces witha Leo Ascendent? same with me except my Leo is in my Moon and Scorpio is AScendant. Even though people tell me I'm goodlooking, I know I won't be an effeminate Prettyboy by the time I become skinny. Probably be more masculine sort of beauty-Swimmer's Build Muscular and a face thats while not very chiseled, would at the very least be good-looking (or in some girls words who already think I'm goodlooking as I am right now, GORGEOUS). So I'm living proof of a Pisces who is not an effeminate androgynous fag. Must be my Scorpio Rising and my Moon in Leo playing into effect lol.
