I have Libra on the ASC, with a 1st house Pluto and I found Saturn transiting my 1st house to be a very difficult, lonely time relationship-wise. I found it really difficult to understand and relate to men in any capacity.

Very confusing and trying time.

I'm an Aquarian, BTW.

Normally in my life, I have always found it easy to attract the opposite sex and my love life is normally quite lively and interesting... but this period began with extreme frustration, then deep disappointment... after which was more or less a lot of either being lonely or endless first dates (also very lonely).

The disappointment was with a man (a Leo) who appeared to be the man of my dreams, but alas.... he was just perfect on paper. He was extremely narcissistic and ultimatley, batshit crazy. However... if I had decided to stay the course... we would have looked perfect together to the outside world. We would have been one of those couples people envy or think are glamorous or something.

What did I learn from Saturn in Libra? That having a TRULY WONDERFUL, LOVING relationship is what I want and most important to me and that my self-respect is paramount. I want the real deal. I'm willing to wait for it. I have to trust that its not in vain. I have to be willing to let people in. I have to be softer and warmer... I think the last 2 years were also lonely because I had my guard up after the Leo narcissist.

What was Saturn in Libra like for you, what house did it travel through and what did you learn?

Saturn in Libra is strongly connected to superficial relationships [the ones that look good on paper] but I think one of the big messages is that only TIME will tell if it's going to last.

Saturn enters Scorpio after Libra and it's here that the work really begins...

I've had an abysmal time with relationships...well I haven't actually had one. Saturn did conjunct my Venus at 29 Virgo, followed by Pluto at 2 Libra, then opposed my Aries Moon [18 deg] and then conjunct Uranus 20 Libra, so I can see why I was unsuccessful at forming any partnership during this time.

It's not that I found it difficult to relate to men, I just didn't agree with their values and refused to conform to their way of thinking. I was guarded too, and willing to wait. And I hope you're right ~ that it won't be in vain.

Edit: forgot to add, it went through my 10th/11th and into my 12th. I can't say that I learned much, but I can appreciate the stability a good relationship gives [I didn't before].

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had saturn transit my sun/merc in the 12th house on Oct. 29th 2009...my boyfriend and i broke up that same day.
i have merc, mars, sun, asc all in libra.

I spent 2010 in depression (breakup), weight loss, exercising crazy, hair loss, no sleep.

Then in 2011 I met someone romantically who had Oct 29th as a birthday ?.....weird

2011 was like my rebuilding year.
Then in the beginning of 2012 I have saturn transiting my asc. in libra. Which was bad becasue I started getting all self conscious of my looks (moon/venus in leo) although I'm sure there was nothing wrong with me. As 2012 comes to close...i am more mature, and my life is on the right track, and i feel stronger than i ever have.

However, my scorpio love who i met in 2011 is going through his saturn transit sun, and guess when that began...on oct 5th of 2012. One day after my birthday. however...he was overseas where the time is 6hrs ahead while it happen, and technically he began his s-return on oct 4th of my birthday.
Strange----

Aline, self-worth is a valuable lesson… I think I got that out of it too, but wow! Was it hard or what???

Quinnly, I strongly relate to everything you said and could have written it myself. Actually, I only just realized, that when Saturn went into Libra and that relationship fell on its face, I also decided I absolutely didn't want to have any casual sex. I wanted to have a real connection with someone before physical intimacy was shared. Sadly, that has eluded me. It's been a very celibate time for me for the most part. I had a few encounters, but they were mostly confusing and unclear and one was quite hurtful.

C1NDER… AMEN!!! Ugggghhhhhh… I can't wait for it to just f#ck right off!!!! LOL!!!

Layla, I wish you the best with your new love! <3

It went through my 11th house, I got rid of one friend who I considered as "BFF" for 16 years, then she said so many nasty things to me and didn't want to take responsibility for her actions, she tried to blame me for everything... This was the point when I said okay, that's enough!

I have quite a history with her, I spent a few years being in her shadow. I couldn't feel being "myself" when I was with her, I felt like some kind of victim...

Unconsciously she wanted me to think that I was nothing without her and that I was a nobody next to her - she wasn't cool at school and anything, so I guess she did this to me, because she wanted to be "somebody" - sticking this "nobody" role on me!

It was so nice of her, ain't?! All I can say is a MASSIVE "Thank you", because now I am myself, and I have my own life and goals without any dependant people... I don't keep in touch with her now, I don't even want to, and as I heard she's still trying to keep up with all her "faking it" lifestyle...

Oh, and she's a Pisces...

When it went through my fifth i felt a mirroring of the no casual sentiment.... I held up my end of the bargain theough libra and once it reached scorpio (my seventh), i decided i was done chasing relationships and that i just want to make serious money.

Money lasts and it isn't fickle and those who say money can't buy happiness are full of it.

My fifth house ruler is mercury and it's in libra (my sixth) and my fourth house ruler is the Sun and that's in my fifth... The scorpio transit will be the only transit that won't have a depositor til it gets to Aries in my chart.

It's a sigh of relief. While in Leo, it affected Cancer in my chart since my moon is in Leo.. While in Cancer (my Venus), it affected my sixth and first..

As soon as it moved into Scorpio i felt such a sigh of relief!!! Everything just said "Finally!!!"

I am no longer a fan of the sign Libra after realizing how stagnating the sign is.

That's sort of how it went with me. before the s-return i was obsessed with paper thin romantic love, but by the end i became a more refined libra (taurus like) where i wanted my
love to provide for me, i wanted a more stable love too, (not the sappy poetic love). More practical, This could be because my 7th house is split in aries and taurus so maybe i matured into this type of thinking!

I was with a Leo narcissist too. That was in 2011. Are Leos more likely to be narcissists than other signs? I don't mean that disrespectfully to any other Leos (I love Leos generally), I'm curious because I keep hearing about narcissistic Leo males!

Dear Venus De Milo... I am so sorry you had an awful time with all of that Saturn transiting Libra... *HUGS*.

I found it hard too. Saturn was transiting my H7... And, the month when Saturn was transiting my Uranus in Libra in H7 the Leo narcissist threatened us and we landed in a refuge! I am new to all this... I had no clue that Saturn impacted life like this!

Urgh! Looking back over major difficult life events it's been the same story... divorce, major hospitalisation... Yuck, yuck, yuck!

Welcome to astrology. OMG.

Well, the Saturn in Libra transit didn’t seem to affect my Health/work as much as I expected(Libra in 6th house)instead, it affected my relationships a lot more(so what does that say about my Asc? But I won’t get into that. Not again).

There were too many things and so I’ll list them as far as this year was concerned:

• I wanted to know what direction my life is taking.
• I wanted a more clear perspective externally as to where I am going(with regards to everything)
• I started on my self-imposed exile.
• I distanced myself from a friend (Aquarian).
• I became more serious in my outlook.
• I started being more image “conscious”: How my body looks etc.
• I started to be impatient with meaningless relationships.
• I started communicating more with another mate. (Also an Aquarian).
• I got no action (down there) this year what-so- ever.
• I became less interested in “fun” for “fun-sake”.
• “Dumb” people were no longer cute and there was less tolerance for them.
• I left my old job for this one (and am likely to leave this one too for another).
• I moved in with someone (flat mate)and then we parted at around September
• I definitely felt more “responsibility” falling on my shoulders financially.
• I started to be interested in my culture (and that is growing).

Thing is with transits, things that seem “minor” are worth mentioning , but you are so busy “living” your life that it is only in retrospect that you are able to say “wait a minute. I did that, I went through that at that time.”

When it’s happening, however, you are unlikely to gain a detached perspective….

Thank you Curious Bull. I am OK, but I am still pouting about it and licking my wounds and feeling very lonely

I don't think all Leo's are narcissists. The strangest thing is... I have been more or less celibate and alone, but I met this really amazing guy at a music festival this summer. The chemistry was instant and our four days together was dreamy. He was a musician.

I asked him what his birthday was and he said August 6th, which freaked me out, but I said "OK, OK... its probably not the same year a the Leo Narcissist... relax!!!"...

(Leo Narcissist was born on August 4th)

Well guess what? IT WAS THE SAME FREAKING YEAR!!!

And weirdly enough a very similar story played out in that this new Leo asked me to move in with him and I said no, since we live in different countries and I was not financially or otherwise prepared for such a move, notwithstanding the fact that we knew each other for only FOUR DAYS. Geeez.

Which is more or less the same thing that happened with the first Leo.

I feel like the universe is sending me the same energy, maybe I needed to learn something from someone like them?

With both of the I have double whammy Saturn-Mars in synastry... Their Saturn opposes my Sun & Mars and my Mars sits on their Saturn.

Anyway, thats my Leo Narcissist story... however Leo #2 and I are on good terms and had a really beautiful, magical time together. I'm don't know him well enough to say he is a narcissist or not. I'm sure he has his flaws.

that's really funny. I was born aug 4th and I hardly wear make up I also dress comfortably, no brand or nothing extravagant. if there is anything I pay attention to, is my hair lol because it's not thick it's hard to style I always care to bring hair pins with me lol but I am scorpio rising. I have aqua and gemini female friends that lectured me about make up all the time. they gave up eventually, couldn't get me to wear mascara lol I'm happy with lip balm and moisturizer

Saturn in Libra, I remember reading something about delayed or harsh communication. it was on astrologer column around 2009-2010. I remember this because that was exactly what happened to me during Saturn in Libra. somehow people that I know, stopped communicating or it took them much longer to communicate back.
different story with new people. it always started going well, and then rapidly downwards. the good thing is, since they are new to me, I wasn't attached to them as much, I could ignore the rapid change and move on, after all I was warned
I was told since I am leo sun, libra is my 3rd house. well it fits and by natal chart libra is my 11th house. friends come and go. groups, I joined some but due to the experience, I stay detached and only limit myself to the group cause, stay detached overall. Starting Spring 2012, I finally found the 'right' group and friends I still keep until now. It's very interesting how true is the warning I read I certainly welcome Saturn in Scorp. I read that home life will need my attention. I'm up for it

Leo Narcissist 4th #2. Did all that happen when Saturn was Rx? Or something Rx?

Well, in about a month, t.Saturn will officially be *out* of my 6th, and boy, I sure can't wait. Practically less than a week after The Old Man hit my 6th house, I wound up dropping out of nursing school. It was clearly not the right path for me. I had all sorts of back-up plans, all of which did not come through. I've tried to rebuild with a new school major, and the requirements keep getting flipped, or the school is shuttering classes. It's been crazy trying to finally get to a program that's working out. Then, with health issues, I'm approaching "The Change." (menopause) It hasn't quite hit all the way. Just starting to appear. Otherwise, I have stuck to a healthy diet, and had plenty of exercise. Still gained some weight, though. Grrr!! Dang t.Jupiter on my ASC to blame for that one.

Hoping that when t.Saturn hits my 7th, I'll get some clarity regarding relationship issues. If some friendships have to fall by the wayside, I'm ready to accept that. If they become stronger, that'd be great. Hoping t.Saturn might help me meet some *serious* people, too. I'll have a lot of interesting transits passing through the 7th. Including t.NN. At some point, t.Saturn and t.NN are going to hook up, pretty close to n.Neptune in the 7th. Wondering what all of that is going to bring. Yup! I'm ready!

I'm glad you are ok! Those narcissists can be so lovely and terrible all in one. No one is quite as wonderful or quite as nasty. It takes time to lick your wounds and heal... sending hugs and love.

As for #2 same birthday (almost!). I wonder what that's about. At the same time as the Leo narcissist, I had 2 (so total of 3) Leos in my life only 2 days apart... relationships of intensity for sure. Only one was a narcissist/socio type. The others are lovely women.

I think when we get lonely we tend to think of what we had when we weren't lonely... I personally am looking for something that is kinder and stable now. Is it possible to have excitement with stability??!! ;-)

Hi Astrofan!

Well, you know, with the Leo Narcissist, I am not actually talking about his grooming! He was very handsome and dressed well and all that, and was ferociously intelligent but very, very conceited and pretentious about all things scientific and cultural.

We dated when I still lived in San Francisco and then we both left the area, we had an amazing time together and incredible chemistry. He drove me a little nuts with his hautiness and various pretensions even in the very beginning, but the chemistry was out of this world, he was ridiculously handsome and we geuinely had a great time together and great laughs... ridiculous animal sex that makes me a little faint just even vaguely thinking about it, lol.

We both moved to the east coast, but different cities and he asked me to move to his city with him. I wanted to, but he would make NO EFFORT to ever call me or see me or anything. He had this whole attitude that I was high maintenence and hard work because expected to hear from him on a regular basis (i.e: at least once a week by phone or email if you REALLY want me and expect to keep me engaged... literally and in every other meaning of the word). He behaved as if I should grovel and be thankful that he chose me and I should just drop everything in my life and rush over to be with him because he is so wonderful and important. **** that.

So... thats what I mean by "Leo Narcissist". We met in Summer 2009 and all this culminated in late 2010 and ended completely in April 2011 when I told him in an email "I ave high standards for my friends and lovers and quite frankly, you don't meet any of them!"... he accused me of being batshit crazy and said, have a nice life. Yup... you too, sh*thead!

(we were fighting about the same thing... his disappearing for weeks but claiming some grand love or connection... oh eff off!)

Curious Bull... love and hugs back at you! <3 I am lonely and yearning for a true love, but I'm under no illusions that I want what I had in the past... not any of it! If I ditched you, it was for a very good reason, lol
