I'm very curious. I know Aquarius isn't a sign known for high Sex drive and I know Mars is the planet affects Sex drive.So I'm wondering-why do I have such a High Sex Drive to the point Lust is the one Deadly Sin that defines me the most? I won't go into details of my own personal lusts, but I'm not lying when I state my lust is practically comparable, if not on the level, of Scorpio. FYI I have a Scorpio Rising 8° and I remember reading at Astrologycom.com for the description that one of the negatives of Scorpio Rising is that the person may be perverse.But I also heard comments saying the Rising Sign doesn't affect sex drive. I will state when I told another person of my lustful tendencies, she immediately recognize the Scorpio Rising. Also my Venus is in Pisces 03° if that will help. Sun in Pisces 26° and Moon in Leo 25°. Here is my entire natal chart and its aspects as done by a professional Astrologer.

Actually, some Scorpios aren't as sexual as traditional Astrology might dictate. I'd check the aspects to Mars in Aquarius. Any aspect to Mars may tell you a clue about the individuals sexual tendencies. And this might be TMI one of my relatives is a Mars in Aquarius, Sag sun and she has said that even oral sex and sex outside of marriage in general is disgusting. She doesn't even express physical attraction to any men. She's definitely straight, but I guess after a divorce from her Pisces husband she just values her independence above all else. But I see her as having a low sex drive. Mars in Aquarius might need a unique way of expressing it's energy, and this can manifest in an unusual sex drive or needing freedom to do what they want. I think Air Mars by themselves are either or about sex. More experimental about it or simple. I looked at your chart, you have Mars square Pluto. I think aspect is basically manifested as Mars on steroids, and since Pluto is highly strung and even sexual, this is where your drive comes from. Mars opposite Moon too, can be lusty and emotionally driven to express itself. Maybe through a sexual manner. And not to mention, you have many fixed placements, so your sexual appetite is FIXED, rather than on and off like mutable. I am not sure how to describe the sexual habits on the Cardinal signs. I also have Mars in Aquarius (23 deg), Venus in Pisces (6 deg), and Scorpio Pluto (rx 17 deg.) Wouldn't say my drive is freakishly high but I wouldn't say that it's freakishly low either. Especially when you find the right person. When I am with the right person I want it more than once a day. BUT my relationship is long distance. But he is worth it. But I gotta relieve tension every so often, so if he is away, I got that thing in my night stand drawer. I'm gonna see him in a few months! IP: Logged |

I can't offer advice or answers because i am very new and still learning a lot about astrology. please note this is just something i learned and i could be WAY off here...I had to respond to this thread because very recently i was doing research on Mars in Aquarius. My ex boyfriend who was sun, merc and venus Scorpio had a really weird-crazy sex drive and I was trying to figure it out. Not to get too personal here but we were having sex all the time and suddenly i found out it wasn't enough for him. i found out he was looking "elsewhere" for more ways to get off and when i confronted him he said he is just so sexual/horny he felt bad hounding me all the time... without going into more details I had to find out what his birth chart had to say about his high high high sex drive and i was happy to find there was an answer maybe. His mars in aquarius! i have a few quotes with links to the site that helped me understand him maybe "Mars in Aquarius is into anything new and unusual in their sex lives, too. I'm a Mars Aqua, and I have a very high sex drive. I'm a Sag Sun/Sag ascendant/Aries moon, though, which probably explains it! Also, Pluto is square my Mars. As such, I really don't relate to the traditional descriptions of Mars in Aqua. I definitely like to experiment in bed, though. IP: Logged |

A high sex drive or an emotional need for sexual intimacy?Look for Aries, Scorpio and Taurus placements. Moon in Aries- Emotional need for physical action or physical expression of tenderness. Moon in Taurus- Emotional needs for physical attention or lovemaking on a daily basis. Habitualy preferably Moon in Scorpio-Need for sexual intimacy. Sexaul belonging and affrimation is a emotional security blanket. Other placements you should look out for is Venus in these signs Venus in Scorpio-Love is sex/sex is love. Intimacy/sexual relations in love are intertwined. Venus in Aries- I wanna reach the edge with you. Gettting to the crux of the relationship(which is often the physical aspect) is paramount. Venus in Taurus- Love of all physical pleasures; usually wholesome, gratifying and fulfilling(including sex). Touch me, hold me, caress me, make love to me... Mars and Pluto are already sexual planets and describe the sexual approach /energy the person will engage when patronizing that kind of intimacy. They do not, however, in and of themselves, attribute to a "high sex drive". Mars and Pluto can use that energy for other ventures, however, it must be noted that when Mars/Pluto is conjunct in Scorpio, Aries and Taurus(energies that are instinctively of a sexual nature), the drive of the individual for sexual intimacy(and the perpetual wanting of it) is heightened.... example, though Mars-Pluto conjunct in Libra may be termed a "sexualy potent" aspect, the individual will display energetic enthuisiasm in bed(true), but you'll find that most/if not all of the energy seems to be spent on intellectual pursuits(Air). you will NEVER find my dungeon  @pisces adonis i think that with your mars conjuncting saturn and suaring pluto AND opposing moon you will need to learn to control sexual urges so all that wont reach problematic consquences im not saying you cant have at all XD

Hmmmm... I have Mars in Aquarius closely conjunct my Sun and opposed Jupiter.... I don't really feel that any of these generalizations about Mars in Aquarius are totally accurate.I think you have to look at the aspects and house placements and rulership - you cant say all Mars in Aqua are like this or that, because there are so many other factors at play. For me, I do have a high sex drive when in a relationship. But I don't have much sex outside of relationships.... BUT... if I want to do it, if the chemistry is right, there is no stopping me. So I have had little flings here and there. My Mars is in the 5th house and also trine my ASC... as I said before... tightly conjunct the Sun and opposed Jupiter in Leo. Have you always been this sexually driven or is it a relatively new thing? Maybe its a progression or transit that accounts for your sex drive? IP: Logged |

Pisces sun, Scorp rising, Mars in Aqua (in a crazy party of a stellium with Jupiter and Mercury all in the 3rd, all closely opposing Uranus and making the party a little more interesting squaring my Taurus moon...yea, my exciting little 3-tsquare party!  )Tho, I am female...I think astrology can lend itself to tendencies where things like this are concerned...I am not sexually driven at all, except when the proximity of my boyfriend. Mars in Aqua tends me toward being very open to new experiences but not the quanity. Scorp rising just makes one, sexually very intruguing and even "scary" to others. Last but not least, Testosterone is far more powerful in the phsical body than any planetary influence. And this is why, usually men are more sexually driven than women. Aquarius is not described as a sign that readily gives in to "earthly delights" so to speak. It's too cerebral for that. Sure, experimentation is intriguing for Aqua but it's for the sake of observation, not necessarily because it NEEDS sex.I would look at planetary aspects to your Mars, possibly Venus. I would also look into where Eros/Sappho/Lust/BML sits in your chart and what houses these are all in. IP: Logged |
