How soon after meeting someone do you check your synastry with them? Also, after checking the synastry, do you find yourself analyzing the interactions between you two and looking/expecting for aspects to play out? Finally, have you ever felt that knowing the synastry early on may have hindered or altered your interactions with the person vs never having looked up the synastry at all?Me personally, I stopped looking into synastry early on about a year after learning about astrology. I found myself expecting synastry aspects to play out a certain way. I also found myself ultimately deciding whether or not to move forward with a person based on synastry. Later I found this to be a mistake for me. I found out that aspects don't always play out the way interweb descriptions say. I also found out that I shouldn't check synastry with someone until well after an official relationship has begun (at least a year). I also feel this way about looking for your soulmate/twin flame/other half. I feel that deciding whether someone is or isn't "the one" based on astrology right after meeting a person could be a mistake. I say go with your gut and see how you feel about a person over time without consulting astrology. How do you all feel about this? ------------------

I look up everyone, not for judgement of the relationship just to see how the aspects can play out, how they express differently depending on other aspects. I've found nothing turns out as you expect so i try to expect nothing but i love watching them play out, just as a learning experience! My Gemini in mars has an issue...gather, gather and gather more info about life, and sometimes its so distracting i forget to get involved, i'm to busy watching and then life happens in front of me with me as an observer instead of participating!

I like to find out birth data and stuff, look at their chart for curiosity. I do so with like, most people I meet and stuff. But usually, I don't look at synastry unless I really like them, lol!I don't pay attention to it, mostly. One, because I'm forgetful and simple-minded,  Two, because I only have a basic understanding of what an aspect might do, and Three, because it might ruin the relationship (getting caught up on it and holding them to the synastry). Like a natal chart! If you find out they have x placement, I wouldn't expect them to exhibit that placement all the time or whatever. That'd just be losing sight of them. IP: Logged |

About the twin flame thing, you should definitely go with your gut. I don't know how to explain it, but when you see that person-YOU KNOW!!!!! It's like a weird feeling beneath your diaphragm that won't go away (intuition). You'll try to ignore it, but it will still be there. It's weird, but i've had some experience with this (a possible soulmate/twin flame). Then after I receive this "feeling" i do like to see the synastry involved. IP: Logged |

Hmmm...it depends on how much I like them. I have to have really strong chemistry with them right away for me to look at it right away. Usually just because otherwise i forget/get distracted etc.The synastry always makes sense for me. It always plays out the way i expect. I dunno if its just that im lucky, or if i just make bad things happen any time there is a bad aspect--i fulfill that potential for bad outcomes. But the synastry and composite is always insightful to me about problems that will come up later in the relationship. IT's always right for me. But I dont let it guide my feelings at all. If I dont like someone, even if we have great synastry i just dont. Shrugs ------------------
