Is it a Cappy Ascendant thing to look younger than you are? I look 15-20 years younger than I am and it seems that people don't take me serious because of it.

Today a guy made a nasty comment, telling me that I was lying about my age and was not to be taken serious... WOW.

I recently had an appointment with someone I hadn't met before, but who knew my age. She walked right past me to the only other woman in the room because I looked too young to be me.

Someone I knew when I was 5 (!) recognized me 15 years later and of course I didn't recognize her because she looked completely different. Of course I didn't look 5, but I was completely stunned that she could recognize me.

Does this type of thing happen to others with Cappy Ascendant?

They look younger = better as day age. They carry age well.

Yep, I have Capricorn Rising and I get that ALL THE TIME. I'm 23 but people always think I'm about 18 or 19.

hmm, i personally haven't met any cap risings who looks younger than their age.it was actually the opposite. and not because of signs of the body aging, but more because of the expression on their faces,and many times, the way they carry themselves. its usually the gemini risings that have that "younger than they are" trait in my observation. the cap risings i know, and celebs i've seen with this Asc, always had a serious "mature" look to them. not that they were always serious or mature personality wise, or that they weren't goofballs behind the exterior. but it's just when they weren't smiling, they tended to look very very serious, or "cold" lol. and they also tended to have FANTASTIC facial bone structures. a lot of models have this Asc. priscilla presley is a good example of a celeb with the cap rising "serious" face. monica bellucci,lauren conrad, zac efron, sophia loren. there are many more celebs i could name. but the list is tooo long.

I have researched this online before and there it states that Capricorn ascendant always looks older than they actually are due to saturn's influence, so that's like the opposite. Maybe you have other things in your natal chart that make you look more youthful

My daughter is Cap rising and looks her age.

I was told my entire life I look younger than I am... I have pisces rising.

My mother has been told the same too. She has virgo rising.

The only shared placements my mother & I both have is moon in Leo.

Cap rising people tend to look serious and this adds years to their appearance, not take off years.

I don't quite agree that Saturn's influence automatically makes a person look older. I think those with Cap rising have to look at their Saturn placement and sign. I don't have Cap rising, but I do have Saturn conjunct AC and Saturn hasn't marred my appearance. If anything, Saturn probably enhanced my appearances as I've gotten older. I have Libra Saturn and Saturn in Libra is exalted.

I will say this, I agree that people with Gemini, or really, any Air rising tend to look younger than their years. I look 10-12 years younger than my age and I'm early Libra rising. For awhile, I've attributed my youthfulness to my Gemini stellium aspecting my AC (mainly Gemini Sun trine Libra AC- exact).

I've known of two Cap risings. Both look good for their ages. One is entering his early 50's, and does look younger, but definitely showing his age more and more. Back in his 30's and 40's, he easily looked 10 years younger. He is Aqua, Cap rising.

I have Gem moon, and I'm one of those who's constantly told I look younger than I am. I'm Aries, though. n.Venus in Gem, but Venus is also my chart ruler.

I'm Cap rising and have been told all my life that I look much younger than I am. It's annoying to still be getting carded, but nice when people think I look alot younger. Will be nicer when I get older too. I've also read in many books throughout the years that is the case for many of this rising sign. Of course not everyone will be that way, but yes, it's common.

Is there something that Capricorn rising people do that makes them this way? Do they take care of their health more than other signs? Like, eating healthy, not smoking, exercising, etc. I know a lot of Capricorn rising people who exercise a lot because they like the routine of it.

Actually - what I've read is that Cap AC can look older when younger - and then switch to looking younger when older.. because they are meant to 'lighten up' with age - almost like they age backwards.

I think that maybe it just comes down to how a person lives their life. What I learned about risings is that there is so much involved; aspects, planets in the first, astriods, etc that its hard to just pinpoint one thing. But I do believe anyone can look young and age well as long as they eat healthy (stay away from food that causes inflammation), exercise, stay away from excessive tanning, smoking, etc.

I always see that when ever I read about Capricorn. I don't know any older Capricorns to see if that is true.

My mother has a Capricorn AS and she looks fantastic for her age. Her best friend also has this AS and she hasn't aged well. I think my mother's youthful appearance is a result from her Venus in the 1st House.

Some people say cap risings look older when they are young and younger when they're old. It's like they age in reverse.

However, as a cap rising, I have always looked young for my age. I am nearly 30 and still look like a 16 year old.

I am aquarius rising, but sun conjunct saturn and I do look younger. People usually tell me I am 26, while I´m 34. Well, happy to hear I´ve grown a little, I used to be told to be 22-24 for a period of time . I got my complexion tested at some pharmacy and was told that I have very few wrinkles for my age.
