Has anyone else noticed an obvious discomfort with the sign of the house your Saturn falls in?Maybe this is an obvious question, but it's been going through my mind all day at how it was there all along for me but I couldn't see it... Saturn represents anxieties and where we can feel most insecure, so it would make sense to feel most insecure when we're with other people who express it naturally, right? For me, I have a 3rd house Saturn, meaning Gemini is the sign I feel the most anxiety with. It holds true - I have had a few important Gemini Sun/Gemini influenced people in my life and for literally every one, I've felt like I always had to try extra hard to communicate well with them, for them to really like me, and I frequently felt like they were bored with me and it actually really hurt. Has anyone out there had this experience? ------------------ "Perfect love casts out fear." -Anthony de Mello IP: Logged |

Are you sure that your IC isn't Gemini?I have Saturn in the 1st house but I'm not uncomfortable with Aries. As a matter of fact, I enjoy smashing their big egos for sport. But I don't think that's really the case because Saturn is in my 1st house. I have Aries Des. Whatever signs are on your axises would make it difficult for you to get along with them. I have all the Cardinal signs and it's true, I really grind my teeth with them. Although, I have Cancer MC and I like Cancer people more than any other Cardinal sign. IP: Logged |

I've never though about it. Because I'm not sure of my exact time of birth (either 6:15 PM or 6:30 PM) my Saturn is the only planet that changes its house. It's either in the 10th or the 11th. I definitely have issues with Aquarius... All the Aquarians I've know have hurt me really bad. As for Capricorn I have a love/hate relationship with them. The communication is somewhat strained. But then again both can be explained by different reasons. My Sun is in Scorpio so relations with other fixed signs is bound to be difficult. My Mercury is in Libra so that could explain my difficulties with Capricorn. IP: Logged |

I have a Seventh house S-turn and I'm not uncomfortable with Libras. In fact, my bff is a Libra! quote: I have Saturn in the 1st house but I'm not uncomfortable with Aries. As a matter of fact, I enjoy smashing their big egos for sport.

Yes I also have my Saturn in 3rd, and it feels like I have to Work hard at explaining myself, just to get a point across. People often misinterpret what I say, but its because I have a hard time conveying things. Have been told also that I am too quiet around others and that I should talk more. Kind of difficult when no one can understand you anyway.IP: Logged |

My Saturn is in my 12th house of Leo. I don't necessarily have an issue with its discomfort there. 12 house is about hidden things right?------------------ Gemini Sun Libra Moon Gemini Mercury Cancer Venus Virgo Mars Virgo Asc And yes, I'm a guy! IP: Logged |

My Descendant is in Gemini, which could be an explanation now that I read through your response. Also, my Mercury makes a pretty tight trine to Saturn in the 3rd, and it's square Mars in the 8th... maybe that's the reason? But I always wondered if I just struggled with communication in general and feeling comfortable with it from 3H Saturn, so I figured maybe that fueled my discomfort with Gemini people- who seem to be at ease with small talk, which I'm terrible at. But it seems like the basic consensus here is that we all really haven't had this experience, which makes me wonder as you said, if it's more of a axises issue. IP: Logged |

I sympathize. Maybe that's why people with this placement could have a harder time with Gemini people, who seem to have communications come naturally to them. It's like for me, 3H Saturn and a not so awesome Mercury with Gem on my DSC makes me feel very aware of my communications shortcomings when I'm around Gemini people. I feel like they're awesome, but can understand me or be bored by me the least from my Merc+Saturn placement. The positives of my 3H Saturn since it receives beneficial aspects from Jupiter, Venus and NN is that a lot of people do listen to me when I speak, and even much older people take me quite seriously most of the time. I just have a mindset that leads to a lot of insecurities within. As a kid I also had speech therapy and would talk too softly despite being intelligent sometimes. IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in my 5th house and I've never really known or been close to any Leo's. I wonder if that's why. I do have an aunt who is a Leo sun and I'm always somewhat uncomfortable around her. I could never figure out why because there's absolutely nothing wrong with her and she's one of the nicest people I know. I do have a Leo cousin, too, and he kind of bothers me. We got along fine when he was little but he's older now and is always talking about how great he is and all the girls that like him lol. I still ultimately like him as a person, though, it's probably just a teenager thing.Leo is also on my 12th house cusp, so I wonder how that would play into it? Weird. IP: Logged |

Well, the 12th house influence could also play into it. But H5 Saturn can be rough and yeah, I can see how that would make you a bit more discomforted by a lot of fun-loving and vivacious true Leonine types when a H5 Saturn craves a more structured and serious approach to fun, dating and games, or maybe just doesn't like the idea of throwing confetti or going crazy w/ personal expression... for each person it's different. But a H5 Saturn could make those fun loving tendencies of extroverted signs like Leo's rub you the wrong way probably? 12H cusp could also influence as I said. I feel OK with some Scorpio people since it's on my 12th house cusp but having Pluto there can make me have a difficult time with other Scorps. IP: Logged |

Saturn is where our "karma" or lessons, work is. So yeah, there will be discomfort with the potential for growth (& eventual reward/wisdom, there. IP: Logged |

Remember Saturn always rewards. Sometimes later on. You just have to be sure to learn the lessons it's trying to teach first. It takes time (Saturn).IP: Logged |

Saturn in house 1 gave me a lot of early success. I thought life would always be that way. I thought I'd stay like that forever. It's a huge blow to the ego to not be that anymore but I know when Saturn transits the upper hemisphere of my chart I'm going to be doing better and my time has come again. For now work work work.Love Arians. IP: Logged |

The positive side of having Saturn in 3rd is that it makes you really think before you speak.IP: Logged |

mine is in H9. at first discomfort/restriction dealing with foreign culture or certain belief. Saturn return brought me the events needed to release that discomfort/restriction stemming from my own inner fear. it's really a nice feeling.

I'm happy to hear the positivity of your return. That's great. So you could say that people with a strong Sagittarian influence maybe you a bit uncomfortable? Sagittarian people can also come off as blunt and preach-y at their worst. So maybe with Saturn in H9 you could feel like Sagittarian people who tried to push certain ideals or values on you, or seemed super comfortable with the unknown, also made you discomforted since H9 Saturn limits your philosophical scope...? My Neptune is in Sagittarius and that part of Sagittarius is my H1. I was raised by a fanatical mother so growing up I always questioned ideas/values/beliefs but never found answers or afraid to even ask. She detested everything I naturally love or curious about. foreign cultures/astrology/numerology/other beliefs. in my teen I couldn't even talk about romance, new bf etc So I rebelled against everything she said/did. As soon as I got a job, had my own money (she didn't like that either. she wanted me to be independent, but when I was, she kept throwing remarks about it) I married someone of different race/belief and moved quite far from my family. She was the last person to know about the wedding. Thanks to Internet, she didn't even knew he proposed. it was long distance. he worked 10 hrs away from my work She had this plan of putting me in a convent, she didn't say it's a plan, she just said "I think you'd love it". OK, I went to see the nuns at the convent out of curiosity. After thorough conversation, they decided that it is in their best interest that I didn't join LOL hillarious and I walked home thinking what did I say?? As with Sag people, or people with Sag influence, I get along with the motherly or teaching type. I have my share of bluntness I know blunt is not the same as rude. the preachy type, I don't get along with. if they have spiritual values at all, they won't preach in the first place. Yes in my younger days, before Saturn return, it was difficult to accept new ideas/values/beliefs. but during Saturn Return I found the right people/group and from this involvement I learned to shed my own inner fear and childhood conditioning. It's work in progress but the more I do it, the less restricted I feel. IP: Logged |

if it's all Geminis, or most Geminis. maybe something else in your chart? any discomfort/anxiety with siblings? or people in your community in general? how about in parties, social settings? I have Capricorn H3 quite difficult to adjust with siblings, community and social settings. I avoid parties or crowds literally IP: Logged |
