Topic: Aquarius Cold and anti-social or Friendly???

The portrayal of Aquarius men, like the portray of Gemini, is one that is stereotyped differently from Newspaper Horoscopes and Astrology Sun Sign Books.Modern pop-Astrology stereotypes Aquarius men as cold and quiet (if not socially awkward). However Goodman's book states the opposite-the Aquarius man makes friends with everyone. He is not judgmental of you be you a beggar, rich man, or whatever. He is among the friendliest and most social of the signs, and the least judgmental along with Pisces. I'm wondering. Even people who actually know Aquarians stated they seem friendly and so social but once you get to know them, you'll see their emotions are blank and empty. Even all the Aquarius I met are pretty friendly more than most Capricorns I know.Of course I didn't check their Moon Signs but on average I know more warm Aquarius than the stereotype goes about while half the Capricorns I know are pretty cold.
Note I'm judging by Sun Signs alone.

i am aqua rising, leo sun, cancer venus, taurus moon. I am friendly after i analyze you and feel you are an ok person. My head is flooded emotionally on over drive esp in love relationships but i dont show it at all. I express pain with anger. i prefer to appear emotionally cold and blank to avoid people taking advantage of me. Tears falling are rare with me, if i do need to cry no one will see, i will do it behind closed doorsIP: Logged |

I am very close to an aqua lady as close as platonic female friends could be. I love deep, emotional, spiritual and intellectual conversations - she 100% brings it all. We move extremely fast and intensely through a range of topics - I love the challenge of her - she bores easily and so do I. The difference between us - When I am bored I am long suffering and still warm. When she's bored she is off to the next thing in her mind before people know it! I think that might be why they seem cold to some people. I can vouch the ones I've known are very evolved loving people. IP: Logged |

Yep Aquarian men I know are socially supreme, I love my fellow Aquarians they make wonderful friends, you can take them anywhere, introduce them to anybody and know that they'll mix and appreciate all characters :-)IP: Logged |

All the Aquarians I've met are very helpful, and have a calming energy about them. Their emotions aren't blank and empty but they are just hardwired to compartmentalize, compared to other signs who react immediately (me.  ) I know five of them, all of them are good at making people feel comfortable in their presence, have tons of acquaintances but very few close friends, and have this odd ability to make you feel paid attention to - special, even with many people in the room wanting their attention.IP: Logged |

I'm an Aqua Sun and in my personal experiences of myself and other Aquas I know, we like going out and being super social, but at the same it's very draining. So, we need to retreat and recharge sometimes. At times we can be unfriendly because of this. We're not always "on" so to speak. Like some days the thought of interacting with another human being is just too exhausting. It exhausts us because ultimately we're observing people. We like to observe and if we participate too much, we can't catch all the details.IP: Logged |
