Venus is opposite Uranus today exact and is involved in a T-square which is not exact where Uranus and Pluto are concerned but the energy is still a big influence and i`d watch out where these three hit in your chart.

I noticed in my current BF's chart, Libra Venus is transiting his second house and opposing transiting Uranus in his 8th house.

I feel like things have been progressively getting unclearer with him with time - possibly the Mercury-Neptune influence since he also has the opposition in his progressed chart - and this scares me a little... at the worst I guess it means cheating? Maybe it also means he just doesn't feel like being with me? It's the 8H influence that's worrying me. I really am beginning to not care as much though. I'm thinking of dumping him...

An opposition in the progressed chart between Merc and Nep will be active for years so I wouldn't be too worried about that. And it's as much a possibility that HE will be the one being deceived as doing the deceiving.

It's the same with Uranus, it can be showing unpredictability from his partner rather than him being the unreliable one.

If you're thinking of dumping him, that would be you acting out the Venus opp Uranus.

Yeah well... I kind of didn't.

It isn't because I'm spineless. I just had a really long talk with him about things and said I want to give him one last chance to turn it around, or else I'm not going to be happy.

The thing is, he agreed to what I said and said it made sense of what I wanted different. If he goes through with the changes over time, and I can see him trying I'll possibly stay with him. If I don't see him making an effort like he promised, it's over FOR GOOD, as I've resolved with myself. I guess I didn't just break it off immediately without explanation because there really was no concrete reason to leave him unless I explained all he was doing wrong. And instead of fighting with me or fighting back like I hoped, he genuinely seemed to apologize. But we'll see. I need to see if he goes through with it before we stay together in the long term. Because if he made an empty promise, that's the reason for breaking up.

Yeah, that's what I fear. Us breaking up during the period for good. Sometimes I just fear change. IDK why since it really is NOT a part of my normal personality. I easily change and adapt in other areas but I hold onto people/relationships/old hurts very strongly for some reason.
