I have been using Koch system for a long time versus Placidus. It makes a big difference in my chart to move it to Koch. I have Mercury and Mars in my 8th in Placidus and in the 9th in Koch. And both fit me! I am a highly passionate person when it comes to sex, dark things, sprituality, mysterious things, diving deep (very Mars and Mercury in the 8th let me tell you - just ask my husband and friends!) So I talk about these things a lot and I have quite the drive (Mars) in these areas. And yet I am also passionate about Education - I work as an academic counselor/educator (so very 9th). So both houses fit for me! I should add I have my Sun and Venus in the 8th too and that doesn't change. So thoughts? What do you like more? And Why?

Under Koch only thing different is the house my moon is in...and only by 4 degrees. It makes sense.Interesting to see what moves under each system. Azimut has the biggest change for me, moves 6 of my planets over one house that they were in before. As for how I like them, I don't really feel any different since that's my head, I see the connections. IP: Logged |

I use equal for myself...I become Third house heavy, which is more suiting than having planets muddling around in the Fourth.IP: Logged |

I would use equal except it puts too many planets in the first and I don't feel like that house has any bearing on my life. I go with the house system that correlates with the way I live. Some house systems put Saturn in the seventh and I that goes along with my reality more than Saturn in eight. The Mertz system looks pretty good to me and I agree with some of it's aspects, particularly moon sextile Venus because I get along pretty well with women in general.IP: Logged |
