I met this Aquarius guy (married, we are just friends and this wasn't said in a flirtatious context.) I don't know him that well, but tonight he told me he feels like he's known me forever, but I was curious to hear opinions about Aquariuses and how they usually feel around people. I mean, they're such "people" signs do they usually feel like they've known everybody forever or no? IP: Logged |

I'm gonna go with no, they don't say this to everyone.Just because he's a people person doesn't mean he's not drawn to certain individuals. I wouldn't say it's a common thing though because Aquarius is so used to "connecting" that it would probably have to be something stronger for them to say something about it.. like Rosalind said, karma. I'll check it out, I think it has something to do with being Aries. His wife is an Aries, his best friend is an Aries, I'm an Aries... looks like I have some investigating to do!IP: Logged |

Quick question... so his birthday is Feb. 18, and when I plug in '85, it says he's a Pisces, but when I put in '87 as the year it says he's an Aquarius. Why does the year make a difference in this case? (Using cafeastrology.)IP: Logged |

I'm an Aqua female and I have had a few connections with people where I feel like I have known them my whole life, but it's definitely more rare than common, for me at least. My guess is that he's the same. I can name about 3 people in my life that I've met and felt that immediate connection with - so feel special, he thinks you're awesome! hahaIP: Logged |

Okay, I checked. Using whole signs, his Karma falls in my 12th house and my Karma falls in his 12th house - weird! IP: Logged |

I do! It definitely took me by surprise because I can count on my fingers the number of times I've hung out with him and his wife. IP: Logged |

Sun signs are like any other planetary position, it changes and aren't fixed on exact dates. If he was born Feb 18 1985 and charts say he's a Pisces Sun, then he's a Pisces Sun.Also, if he's just a platonic friend and he values your friendship and all that, why are you looking stuff up about him and comparing you and him together if "it's not like that"? It seems like you're making a bigger thing out something he said that seems to just be "normal" to me. Either way, accept a compliment as a compliment and a connection is a connection. Why make more out it. Pffffttttt... Aries and their monstrous egotism. IP: Logged |

Oh you had to put your two cents in, huh? There are a LOT of different kind of relationships people use synastry charts for besides romantic ones. 1) I looked up Karma which Rosalind suggested but props for trying to make it an even bigger deal than I have. 2) Other than this instance I've never seen sun signs vary. If anyone else besides you has an opinion on this, I'm all ears. Now, little Gemini go stir up drama somewhere else. IP: Logged |

a may gemini was right about the signs changing on certain dates, more specifically on the very beginning or the very end of a sign. I'll use my birthday as an example. I was born July 22, which depending on the year can either be Leo or Cancer. This concept is also known as cusp signs, because they transition from one to another on a certain day. Sure, lots of astrology sites will give Leo's dates as July 23rd to August 22nd or whatever, but they are not taking into account of the TIME. Like houses and rising signs, the Sun's degrees are subject to TIME. Like for example, the Sun may have went into Leo on July 22, 1989 at 7:00 pm. If you had been born before then, you are a Cancer. Let me know if this still did not make sense.IP: Logged |

Thanks Lazyscarecrow! That makes sense and actually clears up my knowledge of what "cusp" signs were. Originally I thought it only had to do with the month/day only. IP: Logged |
