I'm a Leo. Triple fire in sun, moon, rising.I would most likely avoid other Fire signs and Water signs. Well, I'd make an exception for Fire signs but only if there is like a 10 year age difference either physically or in mental/emotional maturity. xD As for water signs...no...just no. lol.
Every experience I had with a Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces male was close to traumatic. I realize this is an unfair generalization and I apologize to any good-hearted and non abusive Water sign men but there is someone for everyone, I believe. I myself may have brought out the worst in these particular individuals. Bottom line though, If the guy is respectful and considerate towards me and has good character, then I'll date him regardless of his sign.

Bad experiences with Gemini, Virgo, and Taurus men. The Gemini men I encountered were flighty with me, and the Virgo and Taurus were too passive. Actually felt I was more masculine than them lol. I do enjoy being the woman in the relationship. Gets on my nerves when a guy is more ”girly” than me...yikes.Was in love years ago with a man with a Virgo Sun an Taurus Moon combo. He couldnt seem to ever give me a straight answer about our relationship, one moment he was telling me he loved me and wanted us to be together. Then out of nowhere he was telling me he wasnt sure how he felt and was confused. Wasted my time on him  IP: Logged |

I'm not really against dating a particular sign. I'm really explorative when it comes to dating and meeting new people (Jupiter conjunct Venus, which is sextile Uranus) so I'm not close-minded... but the signs that give me a bit of trouble are usually Aquarius Suns and Aries Suns when it comes to dating. I'd be TOTALLY okay with them as friends. Just not romantic partners. Aquarius can be too spacey and accidentally not affectionate enough for my Cancer 8th house Mars. Aries Suns can ignore and stomp all over the depth and submersion my Scorpio Venus wants in favor of something with a lighter intensity that bothers me, and can make my Libra Sun pretty annoyed sometimes. I would not be open to dating anymore mutable signs.I've also had only short-lived (like, blink-and-you'll-miss-it) relationships with Tauruses and Scorpios but in spite of this, I would be open to dating both again, I think. My preference would be to date a Saturnian man (Aquarius or Capricorn) because I think only Saturn-influenced people can understand other Saturn influenced people. No because it's stupid to discount people based on Sun Signs or even astrology in general since a natal chart is just the nature, not the nurture. It is potentials not actualities. Plus I'm not an expert and not even Linda Goodman or Noel Tyl can tell who someone TRULY is based on just their natal charts. I've seen people act in surprising ways compared to their natal charts. And as an Aqua who has dated other Aquas, I can say that those Aquas do not act the same way as I do in relationships.IP: Logged |

I think that the gender is important as well. I know that the signs I prefer to be friends with/for girls, reverse the genders and they become fickle douchenozzles.IP: Logged |

No. It's not in my character to judge a book by its cover - yet, i can be a hypocrite sometimes and act like i do with some friends "for the fun of it... (oh, he's a Leo - makes sense  ) ... but when it comes to dealing with people - from any signs, i judge them based on their action - based on how they really are... and that after getting in touch with their inner self (that's where their true nature lies), definitely not after few encounters... had my share of disappointments - people posing as "someone else" in beginning - but if i stay long enough around - their true nature will come up to the surfaces - always does... I'd be incredibly wary about Pisces or Aries also possibly Libra Sun because my 12th house is sensitive and I have had many bad experiences there. Libra just cuz Libra energy doesn't mesh well for me in relationships and they are better as friends.But I'd give anyone a chance if I liked them. People are more than their charts. I'd never write a sign off completely because it's like a 5% commonality with the person I dated before unless they were born in the same year. IP: Logged |

As in sun signs not to date, I don't have preferences. I am Leo sun with Capricorn man for 13 yrs including 12 yrs married. I had bad experiences in the past, but some of them were total betrayal but the rest I had my faults as well. I think if I ever become single again, I will just be more observant and cautious before letting anyone in. Maybe just keep them as friends, nothing serious until trust is there. IP: Logged |
