Hello,

Would my Mars being in my Partners 7th house be the equivalent of Venus conjunct Mars?

Isn't the 7th house ruler Venus.

I'm crap at analogies and stuff, bear with me and feel free to correct me for misinformation.
I wouldn't necessarily compare it to Venus conjunct Mars. Just like Sun on the 5th house doesn't translate to Sun conjunct Sun. The houses are not like the planets, the houses are more the situations personal to our lives, like the home life, the social life, our parents or siblings, our finances or career, etc. Whereas the planets are more or less potential regarding our personality, and the outer and inner circumstances (or obstacles) that build it.
Someone can tell you if the house person feels it stronger or the planet person feels it stronger, but I'd say since houses are more personal to us, the house is more influenced by the planet and feels it a lot more than the planet person. Whatever planet it is, the trait is expressed.
So if their Mars is on your 7th house, I think they light a fire under your butt so to speak. Mars is energy levels and very physical, so if they are in a relationship together, Mars motivates the 7th house person but also may boss them around a bit, even seeming to dominate the relationship.
