Wow. I am a Capricorn Rising. That is a pretty good description. Interesting.

-In pictures they usually aren't smiling
-They might be extremely dorky, 'weird', or awkward at one point of their lives
-They may appear to have a wall put up even if they don't want that
-They aren't known to be too social (partying, clubbing) unless they have a lot of Leo or Libra or something. Even if they attend a lot of parties they're usually the wallflowers...

an immediate thumbs up. I can vouch as one myself. Optimism is my friend! Loving all the relatable stories. What about the happy endings though, or does it still seem like to be a continuing journey?

Me- Dad died at 4, Mild autistic brother (very intelligent!), Raised by single brazilian mother, Mixed chick who hated the "oreo" label (seriously? ew ), & unfortunately the term "old soul". Now I just identify with being human. Most of the other cap risings I know tend to keep the humor though =]!

I know two Capricorn risings, both of them have pronounced noses, a stern brow, and dark eyes. Capricorn risings also have good bone structure but the two I know are boys, and I can't remember if their cheekbones were defined or not. I know their jawlines were delicious though!

They were always super serious looking which made them intimidating at first. Socially awkward or come across that way because they aren't comfortable with themselves. Sometimes it was almost like they were a soul trapped inside a body that just wanted to be free. Ethical people though. People who always tried to help others and do the right thing.

nope, not always. Highly depends on what's happening in my life at the moment of the social gathering. I would have no qualms missing an event if there are other obligations i have to attend to on that day. I'm Cap rising.

Depends on the maturity and age of the person, and I suppose also on the sun and moon signs. A cap rising gets more comfortable in their skins when they are older, when they get financially more secure, and when they come to terms with their inner childhood fears and insecurities, although those do not entirely go away. We come to terms with them, but they haunt us from time to time. Cap rising know how to adapt, how to camouflage their shortcomings especially when they have to socialize in order to achieve status and success. If they find themselves in fields where socializing is imperative to their success, they will become quite good at it. If you meet a cap rising in those circumstances, they'll be pleasant and charming to talk to because they are doing it with an agenda in mind.If you meet the same cap rising joggin in the morning, they'll probably just give you a polite nod.

I dated one. He was a Pisces w Scorp moon. The bluest "husky eyes" you could think of, nice bone structure and very photogenic. A party-boy, super picky with women and a troubled childhood.

Lol @wallflowers

Yeah, what you guys said is damn straight. 3rd decanate Cap rising here, at the fatidic 23rd degree no less.
Shy, reserved, modest, unassuming, weirdish, loner, wise beyond their years, pessimistic indeed, gloomy even.
Of the physical traits, thick hair strands, narrow eyes close to eyebrows (though I always mix that with Scorpio traits), bony forehead, big noses but not always. We have a deep flare to us, generally are anything but shallow and sometimes downright partypoopers.

I agree except the big nose and bony forehead. My nose is small and cute and my forehead is rounded and full. My lips are full and also my eyes are soft (tho for some reason when I am in a bad mood they get really.. scary)

Neptune conjunct ASC generally makes my Cappy ASC weaker, especially if my Cap asecndant is 28-29 degrees
