Hey birdy, I too wonder why astrology sites aren't sparring over the election too!

That Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Romney's natal chart made me shiver. Something about him just doesn't feel genuine. I don't like that.

Obama has that happy and spirited Leo/Gemini/Aquarius Energy going on and I like that!

I'm going for Romney simply because I believe more ppl with jobs makes more money to help our country than more taxes on the already wealthy. I don't want a tax hike when I get older!

(that had nothing to do with astrology sry)

My humble opinion-Obama will win, Romney POSSIBLY wins popular vote though. I could be wrong.(Romney supporters dont despair..lol) I've been looking at this for awhile now. Top Astrologers all agree Obama will win and I think some who disagree are just disagreeing for possible publicity BUT maybe they see a "win" because of the popular vote.

Obamas-natal transits: ruler of 6th, with jupiter retrograding back to his ruler. Ruler of MC, trine Pluto(endurance/strength). Neptune opp ruler, he wants to help people, although he gets a lot of hatred from the religious right(neptune) who don't see him clearly. Saturn in 9th, foreign trips connected to work. A lot of travel, this transit is new, so it will last about 2 years or so.
Election night, Mars trine Sun, Mars trine NN/Uranus...NN over his MC.
Progressed: Venus transit his Prog Sun in 8th house transit.
SR: MERCURY is RX in his SR. This protects him from the effects of RX during the election. This isnt a time for too many changes in his life but going over things he hasnt completed. This is also the ruler of his ASC/MC which explains how it highlights his career not changing.
Jupiter conj MC speaks for itself especially with ruler of AC/MC ruling the same planet trining rulers to 6th of work.
His natal Mars is 22 Virgo. Romney Sun is 21 Pisces and his MARS 6 degrees Pisces. Election night? Mars will be 22 Sag, Mercury 4 degrees Sag....Who will be the most annoyed/worried? Romney. Impatience and confidence-Obama. I will add more later in edit.

Lol.. I Jus heard Ohio not in, or something.. They are saying that maybe they said it to soon..

But honestly i don't think it will make much of a difference...

Romney is holding off until Ohio is in.. So he's not declaring defeat just yet...

Birdy i liked ur reading on obama chart and the win...

Good job

Romney has conceded.

I wonder if the hurricane storm was part of the Mercury Rx? I read that the response to the storm swayed many voters minds during this past week.

Although I am glad that Obama won, I thought the astro forcast would be more favorable towards Romney due to the current Scorpio energy being a plus on his Pisces Sun and Scorpio Moon. Is the current Neptune in Pisces close to his Sun?

Romney's Sun is 21 Degrees Pisces.
I knew there wasnt going to be a 2000 fiasco. Maybe some delays but nothing like 2000. 2000 had like Sun square Uranus tight which was apart of the chaos. Plus the retrograde wasn't on the same place as the last one. Romney just didnt have a PRESIDENTAL chart. He has Saturn transit sq natal Saturn/Pluto and square Venus which was the biggest clue why he wouldnt win.

Another interested tidbit: Obama has the same SR asc Virgo like he had in his SR in the 08' election.

Obama's SR had MERCURY RX, which made me think, this would help during this Mercury rx election.

What's the Nessus thing supposed to mean? Nessus can mean either the abuser or the abused. From what I've seen he's gone out of his way to try and help people, not harm them. We don't know the entire scope of his back story and it's safe to say that it probably played out as him being the target of abuse, especially being the child of an interracial couple in a pretty bigoted era.

If you want to be real about it, we could even go into all the current harassment and abuse and malicious speculation heaped on him about his birth certificate, or how, in recent months, people have even started making videos and books slandering his mother.

Has he landed on his face a few times with some of the Presidential decisions he's made? Absolutely, but I don't doubt for a second that every choice he's made, he did truly with the desire to try and fix things for the American people, that he was trying his damndest at the time and the choices he made are what he thought would fix things. I'll take someone who makes a couple missteps but whose heart is clearly in it (as his Aquarius ascendant indicates) over some random old guy who wants to get rid of as many programs that help the needy as possible in order to help the rich.

Plus...Romney just creeps me out. His smile makes my blood run cold.

What really fascinates me is the changes in voter demographics. Women, minorities, and voters under age 30 really made an impact on the election results. It'd be interesting to view what astro changes are going on in the astro chart of the nation. It will be fascinating to see how the GOP attempts to attract more support outside their usual base.

I would love to know what is so negative about saturn onjunct pluto.

To me that makes a person a straight shooter, extremely dedicated and focused to task. That is something that should be praised in a president.

Very interesting point you've made. Do you know that Obama's Saturn conjuncts the US's Pluto?

I don't think astrology had anything to do with the elections. The truth is that conservative republicans do NOT make up the majority of the population of the US. Although they'd like to think so.
