It seems that some of the answers that I read from "graduates" of these astrolgy degrees sure do know their stuff. So I would certainly take some courses in astrology if the budget allowed. That is why I love astrology as it is a Lifetime Study. I say go for it as there is always something new under the sun when it comes to astrology. And if it is Two For The Price of One you can count me in! lol IP: Logged |

Just wanted to add that I am self-taught and I spent about ten years in the Fog of Astrology. It's dark out there! So ANY guidance when it comes down to really learning about astrology is a wonderful idea. An astrology certification would really put you up there with the Big Dogs Too! Really any help is good help when you begin to study astrology. I was not a good teacher for 'me.' The teacher was always mad! IP: Logged |

I personally think a degree in astrology is worth about as much as a degree in theater... nothing. In India there is some importance laid on people who get degrees in Vedic astrology. In fact some ACTUAL accredited big universities in India actually offer degrees in it. but India takes astrology much more seriously than other countries. Here in the west a degree won't make a difference. This isn't to say that the EDUCATION is worthless... If you really feel you're learning then it's worth it.. I just mean the piece of paper at the end isn't. It's not going to make any difference in what clients you get as an astrologer or anything. IP: Logged |
