They say the sky is supposed to be falling and it's general havoc. Please, havoc can happen any day right. Some people just take astrology too far looking for anything to explain what's going wrong, and most of em don't even know how to read a chart. For you, what it means personally, look to see if 4 Sagittarius is conj sq or opp within say 3 deg anything in your chart, that is where there might be an issue with getting straight talk on a matter or having a clear head going forward. And it'll then go into late Scorpio for a time, so check that out as well, track it on planetwatcher.com
Also this time Mercury is squaring transiting Neptune from early Sag so look to see where that sq will fall in your chart for deceptions related to those house matters, but only relating to bringing in something new.
In general terms Merc Rx is revisiting an issue, so look at what house 4 Sag falls in (and then late Scorp), in the 3rd for example it's a good time to go through paper clutter and old correspondence that's been hanging around. But like I said since in the early phase it's sq Neptune (which it isn't always) there's an indicator to watch for possible deception in new dealings. Like tMerc Rx in your 3rd to tNeptune in your 6th the transiting square maybe you're making an appointment with someone then when you get to said appt you find they made a mistake in the scheduling (maybe they were thinking of a different client who they had to see that day because of an urgent matter, confused Nep-toon) and you have to go back on a different day. It's the houses that matter and the hard aspects that tMerc makes to your chart more than anything else.IP: Logged |

O thank you Also look at the house that Mercury rules. If Merc rules the 3rd and t,Merc is in hard aspect to nMerc then there's likely gonna be a more typical sky-is-falling Merc Retro.
Also it Rx's in sq to Chiron Pisces as well so there's an opportunity if you want to revisit old painful issues in the houses that it falls in and acknowledge the pain, you know having that hard talk, have compassion for the person and move on. This is for old issues. New issues could bring new pain, depending on how they're handled so this is a good time to change course. Again, this is more if these degrees impact your chart.IP: Logged |

Based off personal experience & first hand stories, there's a magical, mystical, opportunistic side to Mercury Retrograde that no one seems to talk about. Proof positive, imo, there's little thinking in this world. People seem to just repeat what they've heard another person say.IP: Logged |

This Merc Retro also amuses me since it starts off opp the 0 deg Solar Eclipse in Gem earlier this yr, and for a time retros back to the eclipse point that hits in 4 days at 22 Scorp.
So it's the early mutable + late fixed that need to keep their eyes and ears open. When Neptune turns direct later in the month that's it for the early mutables, moving day is here, time to put these issues behind:Early mutable had: early Neptune in Pisces, early Chiron in Pisces, t NN in early Sadge, tJup early Gem, solar eclipse 0 Gem, this Merc retro is really clearing it all out since Neptune's not gonna Rx back to this degree it's moving forward from here on out. Spring cleaning for this bunch is arriving early.
Pisces placements are poised to receive support from Jupiter in Cancer/Saturn in Scorpio, t NN Scorp/Pluto Cap
Virgo has been receiving & will continue to get support trine from Pluto Cap, sextile Jup Cancer/Sat&NN Scorp Gem/Sadge aren't as yet free and clear, Jupiter will still be in Gem augmenting areas where they've been challenged to incorporate new ways of moving forward, having to really shift their game, not rely on what got them by in the past. They're still working on brainstorming and getting the ball rolling in certain areas and in others it's the opposite which is really coming to grips with either new associations or new worldviews that are breaking their previous conceptions of possibilities and what it means to dream big, to theorize etc. So if they can get it together then one hand can help out the other in this sense.
Also there's a lunar eclipse 7 Gem 11/28, another eclipse 4 deg Sag next May. Late fixed now gets: t NN late Scorp, Solar Eclipse 22 Scorp, next May Solar eclipse 20 Taurus, Saturn late Scorp after a time, definitely breaking new ground, and the energy is concentrated in the Tau/Scorp axis not Leo/Aqua so it's the latter that will have to acclimate to these new conditions in quite rapid succession depending on the exact degrees in the chart.
Also for early/late fixed which harkens to this energy of Saturn and NN entering Scorp at opposite ends we also have 2 Solar eclipses next yr early/mid Scorp: lunar next April at 6, Solar next November at 11.
So hippichick I don't know if you have both emphasized (early mutable/late fixed) but with late Scorpio I think you're more poised to handle what is coming esp as it's the New moon.
