How is sun conjunct venus different from being a libra or taurus (both venus ruled), or having several planets that are venus ruled ex: moon in libra, venus in taurus, mercury in libra.

Also, what if your sun is libra or you have a taurus or libra ascendant? Would this be different or the same as sun conjunct venus?

Thanks in advance!

I'm a libra too! Sun in libra, ascendant libra, mercury in libra, mars in libra!

I wondered if this was similar to sun conjunct venus? I guess i would assume so.

Sun conjunct venus is suppose to be very attractive, magnetically charming, very socially popular, draws others to them.

I don't have this aspect (jealous) so I wondered because I have so many planets in libra, would this give a similar effect i.e. popular, socially magentic!

I know a girl with this aspect who breathes these traits!

My mother had sun conjunct Venus in Leo.

She was graceful most of the time (born in the year of the Rabbit) but could also be extremely hot-headed. Unfortunately, sometimes she acted like she was entitled to a special kind of life.

My father was sun conjunct Mars in Libra. Even with the Mars conjunction, he was definitely more "Libran" than my mother.

I don't like being Venusian. Oh why god why has thou cursed me with such a face and charming demeanor! :shakes fists in the air:

I have sun loosely conj Venus in Taurus in the libra house.

I think sun conj Venus is closer to libra in some ways.

Sun conjunct Venus
The qualities of the planet Venus are aligned with these people's egos, so that they project the traits of Venus powerfully. Social relationships are extremely important to those with Sun conjunct Venus in the natal chart. They are generally charming people who possess an easy-going manner. It is generally quite important to these people to be personally popular, to come across in a pleasant way, and to be liked and appreciated. Sometimes, vanity is part of the package. Venus is a peace-making, harmony-loving planet, and those with Sun conjunct Venus do their best to seek peace and harmony. If you want things to go smoothly, call upon a Sun conjunct Venus person to restore balance. They are diplomatic and veritable experts at smoothing over (and sometimes glossing over) problems. They are openhanded with others, tolerant and accepting. When expressed negatively, they can be superficial and two-faced, and they can be very much tied up with appearances—their own, and sometimes others'. They might be too agreeable, too pleasant (at the expense of honesty), and downright lazy at times. These people have a fine eye for style and enjoy pleasing surroundings. They generally dress well and enjoy a certain amount of luxury.

These people are gracious. They are romantic and sometimes romantically impulsive. They tend to rely on the power of attraction to bring people to them, rather than aggressively pursuing love interests. There is some vanity involved here—they are most attracted to people who express interest in them, or who respond well to their charms! These are not the types of people who overtly pursue people who appear to be indifferent to them—something that Sun-Mars people might do. They are not competitive people in the aggressive sense of the word, and they are not people who love a good chase. Instead, they work their charms and draw people to them. Remember that their ability to attract others (Venus) is very much tied up with their ego (Sun).

Because Venus rules all things feminine, both sexes with this aspect tend to be quite attractive. Women generally find men with Sun conjunct Venus very pleasing and charming. They sense the value these men place on the feminine. Women with this placement possess an unmistakable and strong femininity.

Famous people with Sun conjunct Venus: John Travolta (Sun late Aquarius and Venus early Pisces), Oprah Winfrey (in Aquarius), Leonardo DiCaprio

Sun conjunct Venus: You have a basic self-esteem that is plain to all who meet you. Your sense of discrimination and innate good taste means that you know good items from bad and are a connoisseur of all that is fine and beautiful. A love of authority figures (men in particular), plus an appreciation for authority and your elders in general, makes you welcome at any social scene. -- Interpretation from WinStar.

Sun conjunct Venus: (The Socialite) You are refined and cultured with a love of the arts and beautiful things. Because a day without fun is depressing, you make yourself attractive and available and are usually where something entertaining is going on. You can become self-indulgent and conceited, believing money and looks will take you farther than is reasonable, but when you see that "Pretty is as Pretty does," will try to develop inner qualities to complement the glamorous image you project. -- Interpretation from the Spirit Success report.

Sun conjunction Venus: calls out the artistic side of the nature, making the person fond of music, art and poetry; it strengthens the love nature and if the configuration occurs in the Seventh House it is a positive testimony of unalloyed marital bliss. In the Second or Eight House it leads to extravagance of the person or his mate; in Scorpio it is not good for the morals and in Pisces it leads to intemperance. These aspects strengthen the constitution, increase the popularity and make social intercourse smooth so that the person has many friends and keeps them. As the orbit of Venus is so small she never forms the sextile, trine, square or opposition to the Sun. -- Max Heindel.
