So I think Romney had this - it's where I most recently saw the Pluto-Saturn conjunction come up but his is in Leo. I'm intrigued by this aspect because it seems a little chilly. It shows potential serious hard ships depending on where the conjunction falls. One site I read for this aspect says it could be an indicator of a very difficult childhood that could possibly include emotional abuse.

With the conjunction in Scorpio there could be serious issues of power plays, many betrayals, especially sexual abuse since Saturn is the planet of the father/authority, and the desperate need to regenerate - to rebirth with the power of Scorpio - but not feeling able to due to the anchoring of Saturn holding Pluto back.

At the same time I'm sure this aspect could also produce extreme resiliency and the ability to push ahead, with diligence despite the depression or hardships one could feel in life. It isn't the animal strength and will of Mars-Pluto but the slow and steadiness of Saturn-Pluto that could push someone beyond their trauma in life while retaining a sense of wisdom and melancholy about it.

I think getting sexually attracted to older people is the trait of venus-saturn aspect.

Honestly I wouldn't pay any attention to it unless it makes aspects to the inners.

Then, admittedly, I'd get nervous because it immediately makes me think of an obsession with obtaining some kind of power (Pluto) or authority (Saturn) over others, and general ruthlessness.

I think people who associate it with drive and determination don't realize that's factually inaccurate since a person's sense of "get up and go" is actually the domain of Mars. So what they're attributing to Saturn-Pluto would be more correctly pinned on a Mars-Pluto or Mars-Saturn aspect.

When I heard that Saturn was conjunct Pluto in Romney's chart, to be honest I took that as confirmation that the creeped-out feeling I got whenever he smiled, was justified.

I had (emphasis on had, by my choice - after a blowup with one another I didn't bother contacting her again) friend with Saturn conjunct Pluto who on the surface appears like a very kind, innocent vulnerable person but in actuality the truth is something else entirely; I remember when a mutual acquaintance of ours ended his friendship with her she Tweeted obsessively about it publicly over and over again, and a couple of times she told me about long, endless letters she repeatedly sent him about the whole thing.

When I ended my friendship with her she handled it by befriending a group of people she knew intended to harm me...ordinarily she's an okay person if somewhat boring, but the second she doesn't get her way with you (Saturn) and you decide you want out...her latent psychotic streak (Pluto) flares up and she starts acting like the woman from "Fatal Attraction" or something.

Am I saying all people with the two in aspect, are this way? No. Again, I think the inner planets have to be connected to the aspect for that to really factor in, and also...it depends on the person as well. I think someone who is more evolved could probably handle the energies of those heavy planets combined like that; but I think that, the average person, which my ex-friend was, won't be that fortunate. Outer-planet energy isn't really easy for most to cope with, it takes a special sort to really be able to handle it, and that's rare.

Which house?

Perhaps you are resistant (Saturn) to change/transformation (Pluto)?
