I have Saturn (and Uranus) in the first house at 28degrees with a Sagittarius ascendent. I expected to get some height from Sagittarius rising, but no avail. Does Saturn in 1st house make one a physically late bloomer as well (I'm 24 and look like a teenager). Any Saturn 1st house people have similar experiences?

I have Saturn in the first conjunct my ASC (1deg) and I have always been told I come across wise beyond my years and that I have "classic beauty" (think 50's era movie stars).

I've heard pretty much the opposite.

You have Venus in Virgo and Mars in Pisces square your asc, air and mutable energy on your asc will make you look younger regardless of how much you want to age. I know first hand gemini in the first house I am 22 and even my neighbors think I am a kid.

Venus and Mars are interesting because they're both at 29 degrees and on cusps. Venus Virgo/Libra, Mars Pisces/Aries.

Yes. Saturn in 1st house here. I turned 26 in July but I look as I just turned 15 or 17.

Hmm! My oldest has Saturn in the first and he's relatively short (going on 13.)

Since my family is very tall, and my husband's family is above average height, I doubt my son will end up short. He'll probably have a dramatic growth spurt like my one brother did.

He doesn't like his height right now, but I'm like, "Give it time, give it time!"

It's fitting that he has 1H Saturn, now that you mention it.

I have a Gemini ASC and so I am told I look quite a bit younger than I am (more so depending on the lighting) but Saturn sextiles my ASC exactly and I am also told I look "too serious". So the combination of your Sag ASC (which I find gives people a more youthful energy/appearance) and Saturn in H1 must be working together.

I too have saturn in the 1st house. I'm 18 but people have mistaken me for being much younger, I have a body of a 12 year old lol. But I am very mature compared to other kids my age. It sucks how others judge you by the way you look, people don't hire me because I look 'too young'. It's funny though, when I was 10 people thought I was much older they thought I was 13 but as I get older people say I look younger. Also younger guys hit on me...13 -14 year olds... ekk haha

Hey Anost, I also happen to be a Sag ASC with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in the 1st H. Only all three are retrograde in my chart whereas they're direct in your chart.

I was definitely a late bloomer as far as dating and having a social life was concerned. I didn't break out of my "shell" till I was about 20. I also have Gemini Venus so its opposite Saturn/Uranus which could indicate even mote late bloomer aspects.

I've got Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune in my 1st house.

I've actually experienced it backwards. When I was younger I was much more outgoing and engaging. As I've grown older I've become more detached and introspective.

I hope I offend no one when I say that when you're in your 20s, it's a little too early to make claims of looking younger than one's age... Wait till you hit your 40s and beyond, then, see if you can make that claim.

Good point.

And no offense taken. I'm only speaking on what I've been through so far.

shrug. My grandmother has a Gemini sun and libra in her first house touching her asc and she can pass for her early 50's she's 71.

My mother is in her 40's and she can pass for early twenties she has a Virgo sun/asc with libra in her first house.

then again maybe my genetics are lucky.

Agreed, however I when I was 19 people thought I was 14. When I was 25 people thought I was 17 and now I'm 36 and I get mistaken for being 25. But if you look closely at me, although my face itself looks young, my forehead looks about 45 Lol I blame that on being a worrisome Cancer with Saturn aspecting my ASC.

Yeah that is obvious. And Ive heard that Saturn in the 1st tends to make you seem older when your younger and the opposite as you get older.

But speaking of looking younger for your age...
My mom is 42 but she looks about 32 at the most. No one ever believes she is my mother. And she highly mercurian with a Virgo ASC conjunct Virgo Moon.

Hello

I do not have Saturn on my ASC, but my best friend does. She does look younger than her age, still gets carded when getting drinks and all that lol. But in her personality, she has always been pretty wise and mature. I think she also has Mercury conjunct Saturn so that could be a reason for maturity as well.

I was on a website the other day that talked about how different aspects to your ASC affect your looks, and it was seemed kinda accurate. It said people who have square or opposition between Saturn and ASC tend to have bad teeth. Weird huh...

Anyone with this placement have any legitimate bone problems? I've been feeling slightly arthritic, but I can't tell if it's just psychosomatic.

interesting...I have Saturn first house- I'm 32 and people freak out when I tell them...they sometimes think I'm lying. people swear I'm in my late teens/ early 20's. But, when they talk to me or get to know me, they think I act like I'm 40! LOL

I've got Saturn in the 1st house (in Gemini). I was always tall while growing up (I ended up just six feet tall overall). I looked older than my age going into High School. For a fair amount of my adult life I've looked younger.

I wouldn't say of myself that my height or my looks were late blooming.

I did just get married this year, and I'm 39, almost 40 now. In that regard, I'd consider myself a late bloomer, but that was very much by my own design.

Saturn denotes tallness in a chart. Not all tall people have to do with Saturn though.
The physique of Saturn is usually quite tall, often basketball player tall. Placements in Capricorn can do it, but people are usually tall because of planet.
These people are called "Saturians".
While they may not always be tall, they'll often be taller than they normally should(genetically at least). Saturians usually have a longer torso, long arms, long legs, big feet, and big hands. They are also usually thin. The bones on their face show. Their is a "guantness" there. Even if the person is overweight(usually from indulgence), they still have nimble legs. Sometimes Saturn can be really short, like in Scorpio for instance. But even in that case, the person will appear as if they have stunted growth(large feet, large hands, long limbs-but medium height). In any case, Saturn is a tall planet. The Sun can also be a tall planet too, but not like that of Saturn. Mercury is short. Venus can go either way, but usually of medium height. Mars is short. Martians are often short but muscular, possibly stalky. Jupiter is large, but not neccisarily tall. Jupiter has a regal bearing. They tend to have large bodies even though their not neccisarily fat. Donald Trump is a good example of someone who has a Jupiter body type. Jupiter can be quite fat, but not always. Uranus tends to be a pretty tall planet as well, similar to Saturn in a way, but bursting with more energy. Neptune is also a planet of "largeness" in a person or someone who is larger than average with a tendancy towards laziness. Pluto is the shortest planet of all, even more so than Mercury. Plutonians are often really small, short, and intense characters. I've noticed a pattern of Pluto being tall in Libra however.
