Topic: Sun and Mars in Scorpio

In my natal chart, I have the Sun at 1 degree
Scorpio and Mars at 3 degrees Scorpio.
I was told this is a nast combo. Should I be worried?IP: Logged |

I don't necessarily see it as 'nasty' especially if either or both planets are well-aspected by other planets like Venus, the Moon, and Jupiter especially. What house is the conjunction in and also, what aspects does it receive from other planets in your natal chart? Scorpio Mars is intense sexuality, sensuality, vindictiveness and passion. Sun in Scorpio is similar except that Scorp Mars deals more with using such attributes in getting what we want, our drive in life and sex. So Scorp Mars actually gets a reputation for being one of - if not THE - sexiest Mars out there, because this Mars is predatory but can be loyal and gentle at some moments too.  There's always positives to everything. That's my motto with astrology. The Sun-Mars conjunction is pretty tight with an orb of 2 degrees. So you could say it's going to be felt pretty strongly, but the HOUSE placement is also very important to see what areas of life it'll be felt strongly in. The conjunction in house 4 is certainly going to differ from one in H11. Sun-Mars in general behaves with passionate intensity, especially in Scorpio, but your fuse might burn out quickly. Having the combo in Scorpio, a fixed sign of stubborn endurance, could lessen this effect. IP: Logged |

My son has his Sun in Scorpio conjunct Mars in Scorpio, first house. He is also a Scorpio Rising.He is the most incredible, beuatiful little boy you could wish for. Many people comment on him....no combination is nasty. (Unless it's sun opposite Saturn, in which case.....) ------------------
