What does anyone make of this?

I find it troubling to have a dispositor of a personal planet(s) fall in the 12th since even with the planet receiving benefic aspects it seems to incorporate quite heavy 12th house themes into an otherwise OK planet. Not saying 12th house is bad, far from it - but it can be quite intense and it's not always fun when a planet such as Venus gets thrown into the mix. :'I

In my case, Pluto in Scorpio falls in H12, and disposits my Mercury, Jupiter-Venus-NN conjunction, and Juno. To me, this is pretty much why a lot of my thought can be Piscean and deep/bizarre, and why my love life is so overwrought with attachment issues and jealous partners.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? Please share!

^ Sounds really intense!

My 6H Cap sun is disposited by 12H Leo Saturn, and the planets are in mutual reception. I think whatever I'd like to accomplish in 6H areas (health, housekeeping, schedules) may get sabotaged by a Piscean sense of futility warping my Saturn.

But the older I get and the more I know myself, the better I can manage the energy.

I aspire to having that Saturn become more like a functional storehouse of dreams that watches over my sun and sustains it through idealistic, Virgo-esque projects.

Can you think of a way that your 12H Scorpio Pluto might work out beneficially for you?

Very intense. Sometimes TOO intense. I feel like this whole thing really takes away from my good aspects like Venus-Jupiter. I think that 12H Pluto makes me have a hard time socializing and dealing with 11th house issues sometimes. I'd always wondered why I was so polarizing when it came to social groups. Now I know. It's almost like have 3X the 11th house Pluto position. And that can yield intensely good and weird effects on a person's social life.

I don't see a lot of positives except that in the case of my Mercury it gives me a lot of deep, eccentric thinking that helps with poetry and writing but at the same time has contributed to self-deprecating thinking... Venus has 0 positives and this one contributes to how I have such an extreme love life.

Sounds very challenging, but almost like a good stage for the rest of your chart to play out in. Lots of people who revolutionize things also happen to have a polarizing effect on social groups. If that's how the cookie crumbles, then consider it was probably meant to be. Astrology is a good tool for accepting patterns and how we fit into them, I think.

But I hope others comment here and have some more insightful things to say.

The 12th house can be a good placement for planets that are acting poorly because the 12th house hinders a planet's power. Obviously hindering a planet's power can be a bad thing... unless that planet is acting malefic.

Oprah Winfrey has debilitated Moon... which is probably the worst planetary position someone can have in their chart. The moon is the most important planet so when it's debilitated it can be quite bad for the native. HOWEVER... in her chart moon rules the 8th house of death and destruction. Having the ruler of that house be weak is a good thing. Her moon is also debilitated and is tucked away in the 12th house... hence it's power to harm her is greatly reduced. The moon being safely locked up away in the 12th house is one of the things that helped Oprah have her fabulous life.

I believe everything except sun, moon, and Venus is desposited by Pluto in my chart and it is found in the 12th.
